5% divi is fools gold if the SP drops another 20-30%!

People buying this based on the IPO price which makes it look a bargain. I think serious danger of getting caught with the pants down here. very fertile territory for an ongoing shorter assault. Uncertainty; incompetence; overvalued. More dropping to come here!

An iconic brand, no doubt on that. I was over the moon when i got my first pair of Docs as a kid. Investment wise this will probably be one for day traders for a little while i think!

The IPO price is the target?? in 50 years maybe if inflation stays high! The target now is to get back above £1.50 & to avoid becoming a penny share like so many of it's IPO predecessors have unfortunately become!

Wise words Poker. Personally i don't understand why the company is paying (then increasing) a dividend while they are issuing profit warnings & logistics nightmare stories. I expect the City will be wanting to see some board changes & will probably clatter this further until they get what they want!

CI, have a look on short tracker early next week & we'll see a big increase in the declared shorts IMO. This is probably only just getting into reasonable value range. Is it a bargain? well peeps piled into THG @£2 (down from £8) now 54p. Same story on MOON; ROO & a few more. I'm sure this will bounce on Monday as many will see it as a bargain but i can see it testing £1 before too long. Better stocks out there IMO. I'll keep watching on the sidelines for now!

i tend to agree with PT. Souter & Gloag sold out all their SGC shares so shouldn't really have too much impact. Not enough detail being released atm though. If the charges etc relate to use of SGC vehicles etc then it will raise a few questions of ethics & work practices (think Boohoo slave labour stuff)

This is an interesting one. I looked at it when it dropped to the 180 level a few weeks back then obviously the huge drops over last 2 days caught my attention. Very nearly dipped in here at sub 140 however decided to hold off for now. I think the short attack here will continue further next week. The management here seem a bit overwhelmed by the public scrutiny. It all sounds like a complete mess in logistics. Have to always be a bit sceptical of these recently floated businesses. The majority have tanked massively (think ROO; MOON; THG et al). In terms of valuation it's getting a bit more realistic (£4bn for a shoe company was outrageous) I don't think the bottom has been reached yet. If the shorters continue this is looking like a falling knife. Holding off for now but an interesting one!

I learnt the painful price of impatience on this & BP over last couple years. I had a bucketload of BP bought at £2 & sold out in early 300s. Same gig with nex i had loads around todays type price & sold out for only a piddly profit. I'm holding for gold this time. First target is 250 where i will slice a few. After that who knows!

over 80k of these babies now LG. Averaging low 130s so barring a complete disaster should be a nice little earner!

BOO will do OK in the long term but for me it was time to get out for a small profit while a blue chip like NEX is in bargain territory. I'll be back in on BOO but i can see that one drifting for a while! Not the best TU in the world. Not a disaster but i can see a sell off coming there!

Hi LG long time. Didn't think you were still in on this. I screwed up on this during Covid & missed out on a huge profit bailing out far too soon. I never thought i'd EVER see this sub 150 again! But here it is & thankfully i've had a lot of dry powder to invest due to a property sale. This could still drop again so you really can't count your chickens in this gig but i'm not bothered as this is a safe one for a multi year hold. Personally i won't sell any until at least 250 unless another super bargain came along of course! I can't see the next set of results here throwing up any bad news but if so it must surely be in the price already. But, hey just look at DLG last week. Who knows. I'm quite content for the moment as all my shares are near B/E or in the green. Sdry my star performer, 70% up in just a couple of weeks If only i'd bought more LOL! GL

Yes, Pedro good points made. I believe this company could do very very well over a much longer term than probably most on here take. Cars are inevitably going to become a more expensive commodity to run. Rail fares are much higher than coach. I think this company is doing everything right in terms of eco shift to electric; diligent hedging on fuel; interest on debt largely at fixed rates. Once everything settles down this share could go a lot higher than it has historically for those patient enough to hold. Personally i've bought bucket loads of these especially when it dropped sub 130. I'm happy to hold for a long time. Most of them are tucked in an ISA so happy days!

Well, all i can say is i've been in on a lot of shares at one time or another IAG & Easyjet included. Not holding in either of those 2 at present but NEX for me is a far, far better investment. The current SP here is just bizarre. The rerate will come before long. I'd expect an update by the end of Jan here to tell us all how things are progressing & we'll see these trundle off towards £2 & beyond again!

Lots of impatient peeps here. The party time will come here. Sit back & chill this is a double money share with minimal risk. A huge brand; guaranteed revenue streams; minimal comparable competition. Buy this while you can get these huge discounts on the SP or repent at leisure!

well i built up a nice bucketful here in the low 60s which is now starting to bear fruit. Thinking of adding more as this seems to still be lagging behind what appears to be market turning bullish!
