i sincerely hope this business gets itself sorted. I have no doubt there is fantastic potential here. I'll keep an eye but for me this is uninvestable at this current time. GLA

i can see no reason whatsoever to buy this today. A cash call is looking certain & the SP is only going one way here until there is more clarity. If people want to throw money away at these prices that is up to them but the SP was 30p & less when stores were open & liquidity wasn't an imminent issue. Very naive to think this is worth buying at the moment!

· Established funding headroom through access to the Government's Covid Corporate Finance Fund and renegotiated banking covenants; expecting to remain within revised banking covenants for the foreseeable future

this will do well to stay above 35 today!

they would also do well to learn from the Rolls Royce debacle when they allowed the RI speculation to linger for ages. SP fell from 240 down to 100! get it done & dusted before it's too late!

This is exactly how i see this! To me it would be crazy to buy in at the moment with the uncertainty hanging here. This was trading at @30p & only rose due to vaccine announcement. Today's RNS is a clear indication that survival of the company is on the line. Why did CF not utilise the CCFF when they could have. I have some serious questions about the way the company is led. The new CEO could have some good ideas but will he get to implement them? Overall i personally like CF as a business & i use it myself. Number of issues to sort: liquidity; online presence; too many stores. Loads of potential here but money is money & i won't let myself jump in just yet. Wait & see on this one!!

Brave move Carllapos. I'm going to wait on this one for now. Can't help thinking they'll have to go down the cash call road at some time soon!

They may not have announced RI as they haven't got agreement or underwriting in place. Looks very much like a cash call is on the way here!

interested to see the Mkt reaction. I expect a fall but could go either way. This is about in line with what i expected, but i believe a cash call still imminent here. i'm surprised they haven't gone down that road actually as if they wait till Mar/April it would have to be hugely discounted

£10m loss, was as i thought. Not that bad. Don't like the breaching covenants by January bit. Cash call needed if lockdown continues to /April. Could have been worse this. Let's see market reaction!

& it is it really fair to expect investors to find the additional funds. Not everyone has cash lying around to fund rights issues!

you miss the point Steve. When the IAG RI was announced the SP fell from 200+ to below 160. The TERP was originally 130 & quickly dipped to sub £1. What happened later was due to vaccine & stuff. Believe me any investor who was a pre RI holder there got well shafted. Even those who held right through will probably only be approaching B/E level!

Steve, a RI is fine as long as you aren't an existing investor! it is a great time to jump in on a share usually as any RI announcement will tank the existing share price. I was holding a load in IAG when they announced the RI & you can take it from me, it is not pleasant!

that's big part of the problem here Poker. Online offering is poor here. People see CF as retail company. If they got their online act together with better marketing/awareness campaign i think this share could really go some!

yes extremely frustrating this share, keeps falling while others seem to be on the way up. Underlying fundamentals are pretty good here though & should be OK equity wise given the placing. Add more is my strategy as i've little doubt this one will be up significantly from here in time!

always the same. few pence dip & Sodom & Gomorrah has arrived. No more oil; cars are history, no flying! All BS this share is still way below it's value. Buy the dips; put it in the drawer; forget it; bank the dividend. End of. If you want quick buck invest in Argo Bog chain or whatever. This is an investment share not a casino one. It goes up it goes down. The company will be here in 1000 years. Many others won't be!

yes, i can't believe it has held up in fairness. I had a buy order at 35 @start of the shutdown which i though would be achieved with ease really. but no, only a couple dips below 40 if i recall. Indicates to me this is a decent buy in price as outlook can't really get too much worse i think!

Gerry, i been watching this one & thought the price would go down more too. I guess it's an acquisition RI not a despair one so no need for discounted rights etc & not really panic mode & it's already taken a fair old hit this year. My own instinct is to buy in after the RI when the true price emerges as i think will work out a better price/deal overall. Difficult one to call this one but would like to get in here as is a good company & should be good for a long term hold!
