Polly Peck/Asil Nadir, different gravy to this. that whole company was corrupt to the highest levels. As i understand it, this is just a few mid ranking crooks. I imagine every company has their share of them but these ones got caught!

CR noone can tell that, could be a few days, weeks or never! to me though, the upside far outweighs the downside with PFC. Good fundamentals. Huge drop is based on old news.

The SFO stuff is old news, nothing new in the story at all. Share just being mauled by shorters. Will bounce soon! Great fundamentals.

I'm new on this BB, got in here today @118 but had been following this share for some time & nearly bought in the pre vaccine days but held off & missed those rises. Was amazed to see the level of the drop so had to take a punt here. This to me looks a bit like the Boohoo thing with the slave labour stuff & look what happened there. I've seen a few shares get mauled by the shorters & i used to get really annoyed that it was allowed to go on. However i now see it as shorters present a great opportunity to buy shares at a normally absurdly low level. This share will possibly drop a bit more, maybe it won't. I don't really care tbh as i'm fairly sure it will bounce back soon after. The SFO RNS is really old news & i'm amazed this has fallen so much on the strength of it. GLA

Noggers, yes mate kicking myself over NEX, but my BP have boomed up 55% so not too bad. Yea this one's a tricky one to call but been following it for a while & at these prices can surely only go north at some point. Can't see it dip much further but i said that with NEX @140 LOL

if you bed & ISA your shares, the downside is for CGT that the newly ISA'd shares will be at that days price & any profit taken will be within you years normal 12.5 k allowance. I did this procedure on some of my shares here which i got originally @200 then B&!'d a lump of them at 250. Basically your trading platform sells & buys your existing shares instantaneously but they're bought into an ISA account. Downside is you have to pay stamp duty again but your shares in the ISA are tax free from capital gains or divi income!

Charlie, i was in this share back in May/June/ July time & did very well thank you. I had the nous to bail out after the early June rises as i foresaw the Q2 results were going to be nasty. You obviously remained here for the helter skelter ride. That was a poor decision but you are i assume still invested in here as you believe it will be on the up. Yes, i have have made a really lovely pot of cash from this share but i'm going nowhere this time because the February results will not be like those one's from last August. My advice would be that you remain in as well & don't get sour grapes because people have made a lot of money & you're sitting on a big paper loss!

Tacet, surely trading Argo is simply like a casino. No private trader can predict those movements!

Ceders, this will fall due to BoJo announcing international ban on air coridoors, nothing to do with TA. If OP holds in mid $50s i don't expect too much dip either!

why would anyone day trade BP when you can make loads on the volatility of Argo Bogchain. I've even thought of playing with a few quid on that one!

Despite holding a large number of these at a very low average i'm quite happy if these fall right down again as it gives me time to gather up more capital to load up yet more. This is once in a lifetime chance to absolutely load up on volumes & volumes of a hugely profitable blue chip company. I'm already holding shares which would have set me back loads had i bought pre pandemic. These are a zero risk long term money machine IMO!

these had gone up 60p in last 2 weeks. what's not to like. chill out. £3.50 next week's target!

there are 20billion+ shares in circulation. Multi million trades on a stock like this are bread & butter. This share will go up or down when the market wants it to. Not even the big IIs can move this one much unless they all move the same way!

if you're referring to the after hours stuff you're misreading it. those big figures are 1. UT; 2. delayed publications. i'm not sure why people look at these figures anyway. they mean nothing!
