The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
They need to raise finance. That’s hard work with junior oilers these days
Business as usual
Yes. This is why I did not want a dividend as pi’s get shafted with income tax. Much better a share buyback by the company. You can then decide to sell into any rise and just pay cgt rather than income tax.
I hope the rest of the company is not broken up in the same manner as it will leave me and other pi’s seriously out of pocket and unable to offset the losses.
Yes really. They took another 7% and could have had 21%. There mc is only 158 mill.
The license was awarded to Sundagas of which boil have the right to 33%. The issue and delay was over land boundaries as Australia claimed it was in their waters. That is now seemingly resolved and sundagas can now crack on with business. Sundagas like boil have no money so will have to raise along with boil to move forward. This should be fairly easy as this asset along with others look very promising.

Good luck to you. I mean no harm
I have been in and out for a while. Your talking like this is bang on when there is nothing of any substance. A pure punt
No my post explains my views and is public knowledge. Give me something to counter it.
I don’t want to rain on your parade but there is nothing going on here. It’s a lucky punt at most. They can’t even stay operational for more than 10 months as they have no cash.
Peru JV partner - Old hat, nothing has moved for years here.
* Inner Moray Firth ("IMF") - there is no money mate. Who’s paying for 2d& 3D mapping and seismics? Nobody. There is no cash remember !
* SE Asia - Again old hat. Nothing has happened here since 2016. Why is something happening now? Because the bod say they are actively pursuing options ???
This established partnership with sundagas- what have they drilled or worked together on before ?
* Colter prospects - No news from any of the other drill partners ! Why is that ? How do you envisage it being drilled anyhow ? How does boil pay their stake ?
So like I said there is no news or real prospects and it’s a massive punt on colter being viable. Boil have no money to contribute towards it so would have to sell there stake or raise again to drill it.
I have and there is nothing of any substance except wishful thinking.
Why is anyone expecting news here ?
22p if the bod are not allowed to keep 50% for “working capital”
Ok. I was read it that ALM had swapped shares with WEIF. But it was WPCT. Was slightly concerned for a while !
Aqua. Where did you find the part relating to allied swapping unquoted stock from WEIF ? I can’t find that anywhere ?
“In terms of portfolio activity, in March 2019 the Company acquired a portfolio of unquoted assets from WEIF in exchange for shares in the Company. The portfolio consisted of five unquoted assets in which the Company already had an interest: Atom Bank, Carrick Therapeutics, Cell Medica, RateSetter and Spin Memory. The acquisition allowed the portfolio to increase its exposure to these assets which I believe have the ability to disrupt and transform their respective industries”
