This is INMHO a good share from a longer term investment perspective. Looking at liquid1 posts suggest he has a more short term perspective on shares. As traders now exit, looks like a good point to add further.

Flabby let's keep to the facts i.e. RNSs not previous speculation by posters. To me this looks a good step forward. Happy you sell out and move onto prospects you view as having a better return for you. Ongoing moaning here would suggest some other motive.

I remain well invested, but did top slice this morning. I have found on AIM, as a long term investor, it does pay to take some profit along the way, to recycle to good shares that have dipped on poor short term sentiment.

John21. Your post is misleading (on purpose?). Most are nominee accounts for PIs. So the good news is that a lot of PIs will benefit from the growing MCAP. I am a LTH, in good profit - but keen to keep postings honest and accurate.

His suggestion that he was going to court has gone quiet. Wonder what held him back? Perhaps QC opinion not so clear cut - or perhaps having shot from the hip, ANGUS recommended that playing ball with SCC would be better long term? Who knows, time will tell - but the oil not going anywhere - so further patience required.

Korg. It is absolutely fine that you have decided this is not an appropriate share - for you. But I do not believe in guardian angels on AIM, so go or sell up and go. Continued posting by you indicates an ulterior motive - so you have no further credibility. Each current holder can now review your posts and then make up their own mind.

Boyzee. I have no problem with the BOD making further investment to help OPTi to grow. Companies are in AIM to raise money. The key for me is if such new funding is likely to generate a return, or if it is just to keep it ticking over and paying salaries (bad). Many traders mention fund raising and placings to scare other holders so they can get cheaper entry points. The key is your own research, not listening to either ramping or deramping and fear.

Often the best time to invest is when a company with good fundamentals is off the radar. I too am surprised by current Mcap and SP, but expect this to be seriously corrected over next 18 months.

Rather think you confused opti with some other company! Or you are deliberately misleading folk. Started at 8p and rose to circa £1 before falling back a bit.

It will be interesting to see what changes Woodford drives though. If he does not drive change it will be all over. However, given some of his other recent failures, I would hope that he does have a strategy to drive value for those who have entrusted their money to invest on their behalf. I do feel for you and others who have a lot of money here. My investment in this share has been modest to date. I have purchased some more shares this week go get my average down below the new investment level, and will stay in this share as it migrates from AIM, in the hope that in several years time, there may be a new IPO.

At this level this is offers a good potential long term return, so I am buying, accepting that I will have to hold for quite a few years. Woodford will want to get his investment back from a future IPO.

James. Doubt that buying all of Proxima aligns to Peel's business strategy. They will find someone else to pass their shares too.

Doubt it will get as low as 0.045p. Given current SP is circa 0.68p to buy, it could well fall to 0.45p. There may be a support level at which Woodford has to buy to still make his deal offer a sensible proposition. Overall current Mcap is artificial in the sense that it just reflects the rush for the exit before it becomes a private company - but suspect the scale of the fall may have taken Woodford by surprise too.

I will probably buy some 10m or so shares when should it fall below 0.45p and then see what if anything they may be worth in 3-4 years.

AL75. I take your 2nd caveat to mean - in some companies - rather than particularly suggesting this caveat applies right now to OXB.

JL. I have my doubts, but given my relatively small holding, not worth selling - for me. The only positive is that Woodford is putting more money in. Suspect they hope most PIs bail. If they do succeed, then they may IPO in the future.

My own take is that as MMs will drop the bid price, I may as well keep my small holding and see if in 3-4 years something comes from it.
