The stats are utter rubbish. They try and guess what is a buy and sell. In a volatile and fast moving mkt like today cannot make an accurate prediction. Ignore they are worthless.

Agree, but have always believed if want to sell all will eventually get to a level where a placing(s) is the end result.

Also re share buy back idea, I also cannot see the logic for the Company.

Frustrating but we will get there as the money rolls in.

The posting doesn't ring true IMO. More likely trying to buy stock cheaply is becoming an issue for a shorter? This may if so back fire and encourage buying. We can hope. GLA

£80m valuation yes is low but the mkt wants to see actual results. It doesn't matter what we think the mkt is currently not valuing forward. So be it. Be patient.

I do not wish to be pessimistic just as realistic as I can. It is guessworkbut here we go. I have previously posted when I think SC will be finished selling, assuming it is them.

Firstly I recall reading the next declaration of a holding is breaching 3%. Is this correct? If so at say 12m shares sold a day that leaves a further 50 days to sell out! I have always thought when the holding gets to this level a placing or two might be successful. It's a sobering thought, SC had around 2,400,000,000 shares. At 12m a day sold that's 200 days. Sadly I think we have a way to go.

In a way IMO today's good news makes way for reality. Speculation and the hype is nearing an end. As has been said today the Company valuation is nearing realism. As mining progresses and hopefully reaches expected potential we will see a hefty rerate. Until then if the 'SC' sales continue I cannot see a forward looking higher price just yet. Still time to add as funds become available. I hope though am being unduly cautious. GLA LTH'S

This end of day missing stats happened earlier on Wednesday on this site and does now and again. Why? Haven't a clue.

Jxp... Clearly your negative comment time and again shows your true intentions. For those serious holders IMO looking at the price action the shorters have been trying to contain but not having much luck. Today's action had nothing to do with interest rates. If no news tomorrow will be another effort to suppress the price for an exit. Hope they fail.

I can't help feeling the comments about the base price for the off take agreement will eventually be looked on as a positive . The 'glass is half empty' springs to mind. In my view it is ' HALF FULL'. Why? Because if it were at say $1000 and the mkt price dropped to say $700 cannot see Hainan keep buying. They would I presume have to but pressure would be put on kodal to scale down output. Otherwise it's commercial madness, hence think the $750 albeit a little disappointing is a shrewd move for all. Also if the mkt price drops below say $700 would be a worried world demand was so small. Whatever am very optimistic for our future. Good to see the two gold mines mentioned as well in the presentation.

Why no RNS ? I suppose we are used to them for news but tend to get a knee jerk reaction then lots of questions. This 21 slide presentation gives in my view a far better picture and on a subject know little about spelt our clearly to understand. There will inevitably be questions but so many are answered here or almost. Even a ref to SC reducing albeit a bit vague but I think we are coming to the conclusion they are the big seller. I think as this is digested by the mkt we will see a gradual improvement in the share price but if the big sales continue my guess is most of the upside will be after 31st March. Around a great presentation IMO

Maybe a deep breath for all. A classic set of circumstances for irrational action, even panic.

We've speculated about Suay Chin for awhile. It will be clear from my posts I know little of these things, just try and think what might be the situation even if wide of the mark. What is clear none of us really have 100% confidence in our view.

What we do know is SC are now selling. If just started I estimate at 12m shares a day that will take us up till Sept/Oct.

However do we believe they have just started? If so and this is IMO the worst case scenario it maybe difficult for PI's to soak up all. Once production starts and money rolls in I would expect Fund Managers to take up any balance as if as we hope the true Co value will increase dramatically. In which case I think this will be history by the half year. On the otherhand if as has been suggested we are in the middle of a huge SC trade the timescales will be considerably shortened.

So please no jumping ship without careful thought. For me it has been a good day to add even if further falls occur.

Fascinating. Learn something new everyday. One thought though. The number of shares to sell is still huge. Will this work within the timescale to full production.

As a follow on very persuasive arguments have been put forward by 'George...' I think. Apologies if I have the wrong poster. They concerned the sales and their unease about SC being the culprit. It was these thoughts that eventually made me change my mind and admit thought it was Fund Managers balancing the books. As this may well now be seen to be likely we will see a continuation until the massive outflow of funds some investment houses have endured ceases. IMO the Trump effect maybe partly to blame? On the plus side no one accuse me of ramping please but this might all now make a bit more sense and might even engender a bit more confidence to buy. Who knows. Tomorrow's trading could be interesting. Ironically SC 's action IMO demonstrates a huge vote of confidence in Kod.

Very much an off the wall comment. Might be very far from the truth but too me Suay Chin selling just 3m shares does not make sense in the strict sense of raising cash or making a profit. Why so small? What's the point. On the other hand there is a point and a very powerful one. For weeks now we have seen large sales going through. Although SC was suspected as being the seller that in itself did not make sense in the manner in which was being done.

So here we go.... was this a put up job by Kod or SC taking the initiative to dispelled weeks of rumour. It, whether intentional or not has cleverly achieved in one go. No explanatory RNS about the selling or a denial. Just a simple small sale now. As I said, very clever.

This maybe or was a great Company but as it retreats from the precipice it has still some way to go before it turns around. Shareholders have been shafted make no mistake. A massive dilution is coming. Yorkshireblues as so often is the case I believe got it spot on. IMO wait till after the Feb circus. Any long term buying now seems far too great a risk on the current fundamentals. Today is for gamblers only.

Tend to agree with Chippyg. It was recently shorted again at about this level. Looks a classic bear trap to me. As another poster said today 'it is supposed to fall to around 2p'. Don't like to be negative but think 🤔 things are destined to go lower again. Hope am wrong.
