If the Deloitte report comes back negative contrary to the Co's stated view in Feb it will show yet again the shareholders have been misled. At that stage would suggest the Ii's seek their resignation. Hopefully though all will be OK.

Yes I agree it was an increase not a decrease. On 25th Mar the shorts totalled 5.21%. On 26thMar Marshall Wace reduced by 0.11 resulting in 5.10%. On 27thMar (as disclosed today ) Walleye Capital increased by 0.06% resulting in 5.16%.

An extension has a stipulated end date. It is as simple as that

The FT article surely is not a surprise. If true, one of the options thoroughly mulled over in numerous posts. Stick to your view. The fundamentals are no different today than a week ago. There are out and out rampers but some very subtle postings I would suggest to scare you into selling prematurely. Remember the shorters will need to buy back. They will do all they can to suppress the price and buy your shares cheaply. Act in haste, repent at leisure as the saying goes. Read Talies words of wisdom on this aspect posted earlier today. Talies thanks. Good calming words. For me what has changed is even more positive. The Ftse250 share exit is probably complete. Someone bought well at the end of Friday's trading. Sidara I doubt, from my limited knowledge are they allowed to at present? A shorter perhaps or even another upping their holdings. Perhaps a RNS will pick it up.

Hosai.... My thought earlier was if due to FT250 exit then maybe some Managers left their exit to the last minute hoping for a 'get out of jail free card' with a positive RNS today. Unfortunately nothing so had to exit at mkt close.

@Evans.... No not a daft idea. This sort of thing happens. My other large share holding is now on this basis. Something like this crossed my mind but as know little about these things left it to those that do. At present we are all guessing albeit some no doubt have a better grasp of things than others. I was the one in the middle with 15000. Popeye your purchase was what tempted me to add. At these prices seemed too good to miss. Not expecting fireworks quickly but eventually with say a bullish Financial Publication article the mkt might wake up to what an opportunity this is

Ice well said. I tried it on a very limited way with another share then placed a buy back order. At 14.18 that day was out and the share almost doubled on an RNS. Thought had missed the boat only to find my buy had gone through only 2 minutes earlier. I was so lucky and now leave the trading if that's what you call it, to others. It made me a much more cautious or to be truthful nervous investor

Stumpy imv you are close to the truth. It is not unusual for a Co to have written in it's constitution a safety net for the top brass. As an example my employer went public. A clause was added to protect those who ran the Co so in the light of a take over( there was) they were basically financially protected. They protect their own!
