Get a grip. Spod is down, what do you expect. Rabbits out of a hat? Those in for a quick buck, you're in the wrong place. This will come good, the market will turn but may yet fall for awhile. Good to see a few sensible posts this PM. MWILT Laverda, Bfdinvestor, George etc. I can't believe how well they have done getting this far. Having lived and worked in W Africa for a spell know how difficult it can be to make swift progress. They have done brilliantly . Maybe expectations were a little ahead of themselves but that imo is all. A shame about the current spod price but will right itself. Discovering this share only about 3 years ago it's great for me at least to still be able to top up at an advantageous price. Gla.

Re 10 trades. Simple answer, none. The 10 trades actually is a hangover of info not corrected. It showed up earlier this week as a number of historical trades in April. Today they have been removed but not the total. Hope clears this up.

Here we are lamenting possible losses. For the staff it could be loss of office in due course. I've been there. The piggy bank raided after take over and many lose. Just think of people's livelihood when having a winge.

Gord thanks for the info. The surplus on the info you gave must be considerably higher today as you suspect. With lower interest rates gilts have soared so the surplus could be $400m plus perhaps? A dangerous game though taking from a pension fund. The investment climate can change in a instant. I would be surprised if this scenario is played out as you suggest.

My guess is as you say plus they still think can get at a lower price. My guess is as low as 15p -18p before we see a sustained bounce. Gord the surplus you mention seems high to me. Can I ask where this info came from. I have missed it. Also I think I recently read the pension fund is supposed to hold approx 5% of the equity. That is currently a he'll of a loss.

YR interesting. I don't know enough to make a constructive comment. The word 'libel' springs to mind if I'm wrong but your comments in many areas mirror some of the comments made by others and coinside with some of the thoughts milling around in my mind. Who knows the truth?

What I have found incredible is the tone of the RNS's. Clearly those responsible have never been taught how to negotiate or if they have imo learnt very little. All sides in a dispute, take over even war etc have pluses and minuses upon which to negotiate. What you don't do is churn out to the world all your minuses and basically capitulate. Yes and no. An Employer can top up contributions to match liabilities. Happens all the time. Don't see any issue here. Sidara merely assume responsibility for fund being adequate to meet liabilities. Feel sure this has been discussed.

Not sure what the fuss is all about Emma Griffin's holding. It is not a secret. It was subject of an RNS sometime ago at the start of the potential bid. One of you actually commented it was probably a historic holding that had come to light now needing public exposure. A non event imo. Conspiracy theories drive me mad.

On a different note it is none the less useful things like this are researched and those of you who do with honest intent deserve the less knowledgeable ones like me our thanks.

My guess it is quiet simply the pi's are apprehensive to buy more, and the II s just waiting. No one wants to take a gamble. With luck we will all look back and ask ourselves why didn't we buy more

I used to think there were some good postings here, and still are. Sadly though they are becoming the minority as daily we are being deluged with utter rubbish. An opinion whether agree or not is always valuable as gives another view, sometimes overlooked if my rose tinted glasses have become strong. What is unforgivable imo is the myriad of misinformation. Fear panic or ignorance perhaps, but suspect most is blatant lies or twisted facts to spread fear for fun or are agents of the shorters getting you to sell and bring down the price. I think we will not get rid of these sick souls but rising to the bait only adds ammunition to their cause. In the meantime thank you all who have posted their honest opinion
