Usually very true of many aim shares and new listing's. Kodal a perfect example. We've had the hype. Now for reality. Initially reality can be unknown in that like Kodal we are waiting for financial data. Can't see the 31/12/2025 helping much but the guidance if any and half year review should help. As an aside, the proverb seems very apt for SpaceX. $200 a share and still climbing does to me sound , excuse the pun, like it's still travelling but when it lands on reality.....oh dear. We shall see.

I am always rather cautious re the hoped revival but now it appears the Co are becoming 'lean and mean' a re establishment of better trading and profits should push the share price up and maybe by next year a good multiple. Time will tell but think we should see some buys on a FOMO basis alone as suspect liquidity may become very tight. Good luck to all.

How many times have we read doom and gloom posts only to subsequently find the true situation is very positive.

The shipping 'experts' amused me. Trying on one occasion to identify the carrier when it was already loaded and at sea. Don't waste time worrying about the negative side all the time. The 'glass is half full or half empty' is so true.

It is right to be cautious and not look at things through rose tinted glasses all the time but let's look at today's revelation from a different angle.

Reading today's posts our MD would seem to be in quite a few views at best incompetent at times. Where have I read this rubbish before. First look what has been achieved. But you might ask why was the gold not developed at Nellie. My guess is money. One thing at a time. Our mine still has along way to go to full potential production ie the development of stage 2. Finance is required. I suspect the two mines could not be developed simultaneously. So not surprisingly the authorities pulled the plug. Sad but reality. Not a sign of incompetentence IMO, but good management in a difficult situation.

Kodal possess or did, who knows, considerable drilling info on Nellie. My guess is Kodal behind the scenes have either sold the information or are working with the new operation to in an advisory capacity. The Nellie operators might have done a deal for cash but if I was involved in a startup protecting cash can be vital. So what about offering Kodal some shares as their remuneration? Far fetched, maybe but is the glass is half full side of things IMO. One side stitching the other up, I don't wear it. Cooperating? Could be. It may come as a surprise to many but competitors actually talk to each other at times. That's how JV's and all sorts of collaborations often start.

So there we have it. This could be a well worked situation. There are always two sides to consider. Gla.

Hold on, some of you are getting confused. If Hainan offered say 0.60p and was accepted that is for the downstream Co Hainan own 51% of. IT IS NOT FOR KODAL. Therefore 0.60p does not mean you could sell kod for this. It is what kod would receive as payment. It's very different from a kod take over. What they do with the cash is up to them.

Troajan, thanks for the link. Was just about to see if BA had been interviewed yet. Although nothing new as would be appropriate it is good to hear him reaffirm all is progressing well. Yes, there was an operational glitch early on in the first quarter but resolved an with a record production in March April is continuing in the same vein( pun not intended). Those who like to criticise every possible thing,Feb is always a gift for them. I would have expected Feb production to be slightly less even on max. production for the simple reason Feb was a 28 day month. 10% less mining time for a starters. Finally in common with most of us the share price is a disappointment but as BA restates the mine in now getting into a rythym and routine and with the buoyant ore price we will get there.

LTb that's the issue. Spot on. A potential substantial downside but upside might be large. Must admit set a personal buy limit at 2.50p but all quite a bit lower. Not gloating by anymeans, afterall might be a daft move.

Looking at the Co RNS's they appear to have been upfront time and again but unlike some have taken radical action to remedy what may not have been of their making. In business you look at the facts and make a decision. Unfortunately you cannot be 100% correct all the time. This time however if they are correct and are about to turn the corner this share could regain a lot of lost ground. Those with good memories will probably recall not long ago 10p looked a come and buy me price. Not guess forecasting anything as could go either way but high risk high reward with this one IMO.

Always a difficult time when a share price moves rapidly upwards on speculation. Will we look back and say 4p, wow, wish had jumped in there. The signs were right, just needed courage. On the flip side, we get a disappointment. No subsidiary sale and expected overseas sales falter, and we plunged in deep. So which way do we go. Hardly posted on this site in the past as had my fingers burnt awhile ago,but have decided you don't win if over cautious so rightly or wrong 3 top ups in a week or so. On balance this could prove a fantastic opportunity. Anyone's guess. GLA. Would be nice to recoup some past losses on this share. Think might just achieve. Everything crossed.

LTb am inclined to agree. There is likely to be FOMO at present and for good reason I believe. Don't want to be labeled a ramper so will try and avoid over doing it but along side the risks as we know there are a few potential pieces of good news. Hopefully these will shortly be announced so suspect with a low free float and thus high volatility advance speculative buying will continue in small quantities. So it's for us all to weigh up the pros and cons and act accordingly. Looking good though imo. GLA LTH'S

LTb you maybe right. I hope you are. Looks like we've had an early buy. No doubt after 15mins will know how much. It's a while now since we enjoyed 4p plus and much high values of course. This has been a bottom draw share for me but although with any always a risk side but the pluses seem to be lining up well even if we get a blip or two along the way. Fingers crossed the Co is turning the corner in that things will now start to fall into place and come good. Gla. 2026 our year here?!

Sadly this may turn out to be a negative. Not suggesting the POTUS is insane but the latest pronouncement does seem at odds with one would hope the respected office of the most powerful man on earth? Can't see many countries aligning up with the USA at present.

My net would be not till mid month at the earliest. Firstly Bernard will want to get all info together, a delay might help Trump's .......... up become clearer as to future outcome as well. Afterall fuel transport costs from mine to China will have an influence on guidance albeit maybe a spod price rise may offset to some extent.

From a purely shareholder view I suppose would be handy for this timing to assist those able to take advantage of the next tax years isa limit and maybe buy at current prices followed hopefully by an excellent Peel Hunt review and buy recommendation. We can only hope but looking good. Sorry but that's the best advice mystic Maud could come up with. Her crystal ball like her is getting a bit past it!

How ever much is in the ground independently verified or not it seems likely to be a large increase on the current verified figure. The future is looking bright. The green box brigade I see are at it again. Sad lot.

Please remember a buy out price would not be a Kodal( ie parent company) per share value. The buy out is for part of the subsidiary company. Therefore a possible buy out will be pitched as a monetary amount. By all means then equate it to an amount per a Kodal share. However this does not mean as shareholders we would receive this sum. Kodal could keep it all in house for future development or keep some and pay a special dividend.

For my part I hope there is no buy out for a year or two. So please don't get carried away, understand the mechanics of it when pitching your expectations.

Have sympathy with your view. A valid point. However I look at it another way. The Co at some point has to change to periodic reporting. They have promised that. We are told in interviews now and again going OK. That should be enough. Why should they have to constantly justify themselves because some shareholders get nervous. Surprised from some comments why they ever invested in shares in the first place. There are always ups and downs. We will be informed soon enough. PATIENCE
