This is a Business Update planned 4 weeks ago with an AGM 7 days thereafter, so one who hope some more colour is added to what we already know. Specific Sales data however may be missing so wouldn’t get too excited unless that is any major Contract(s) get signed in the meantime.

And reassuring to hear that Contract terms allow for commodity price fluctuations to be passed on, given the strength of copper prices of late. Given that we are very much a global business it’s an impressive set of results amidst a pandemic. Had thought of selling down recently, but not now !

Oil isn’t the only commodity on a bull run, look at Copper for example, so suspect a lot of capital is being channelled into the wider Commodity Market, with ENQ just off the radar. Anyway every chance the Prospectus will be with us before end of June , as AB did say it would be circulated as soon as practicable after the new secured debt facility had been agreed, so let’s get this deal out the way and if GS forecast is on the money, then by the Half Yr results we should be as well !

Given Suncor placed a $50m contingent consideration into the deal if Brent averaged US$65 or over, between July ‘21 & June ‘23 , they obviously anticipated Brent would climb but probably not so fast, thus wouldn’t expect any back pedalling on the Deal. Just need AB to close this now ASAP, & let’s have some more cheap shares !

Seems AS has already found it easier to walk thro treacle than deal with the UK Gov’t, hence his horizons are elsewhere. And full credit to Mark Davis( Mologic CEO ) in trying to get answers out of PD, who are notoriously secret, without resorting to having his day in Court which he knows would not only be costly, but likely a year or so away. So much for the Gov’t wanting a vibrant Diagnostics Industry with PD in the way, plus Porton Biopharma ( DHSC owned ) already well placed, so one wonders were they just talking about a State owned one ! Ps. Agree that Price Sensitive news can’t be held back so we await developments as they may happen.

Just can’t see the Gov’t / MHRA acknowledging any mistakes made in procuring Innova tests, this has “whitewash “ written all over it. Question is how long will DHSC foot the bill for Testing . Wouldn’t surprise if HMG just rolled over existing arrangements till natural expiry of free tests. The unfortunate consequence is it has not done LFT’s any favours in the public’s mind, well those bothered to read the bias media !

Not that it should really bother AVCT but suspect the sovereign test is behind us, as will be free Government tests once a higher vaccination level has been achieved. Testing will be passed onto the private sector to fund and at some point accuracy will be the deciding factor when personal well being & finances are involved. AS is right on focusing his efforts abroad, he’s clearly lost faith in anything this Government touch.

Governments don’t admit to being wrong so would expect some delay to any new contracts being entered into to allow run off and ‘face saving’. In any event I don’t view the UK as our principle market given previous comments by AS.

I see even the Swiss can’t be trusted, given they have now thrown out their own government plans to cut greenhouse gases to half their 1990 levels by 2030, using a combination of more renewables and taxes on fossil fuels. Seems they don’t feel there actions will make much of a difference to the global problem ( and in that they’re right ) and have thus put local economics first. It’s a telling sign.

Being an eco-warrior must be very depressing, as whilst they can produce all the evidence they like to support their aims, it’s mans greed and money that takes priority. Yes Governments promise but many speak with forked tongue. Listen to Scott Morrison wax lyrically about his concerns for the planet whilst a vocal supporter of Australian coal mining. The recently sanctioned Carmichael coal mine set to initially produce 10mt pa ( but designed to ramp up to 55mt ) has a life span of 60 years !!China’s thirst of coal for power generation is huge & growing, so one can already forget their peak emissions target of 2030. Yes renewables will gain traction but don’t expect much of a helping hand from those nations who still have much to gain from fossil fuels. I’d be depressed myself were it not for being an ENQ shareholder !
