The European Parliament has approved the adoption of the Covid-19 digital certificate, which will allow EU citizens who have already been vaccinated, recovered from an infection or have been tested, to travel without restrictions within the European Union from 1 July. So the question here is what Test(s) will now be on the Approved List !!

Unless memory fails ( which often does ) thought AB stated during AGM that Banks wanted Equity holders to participate in GE Finance deal & as Leading Banks still involved here, that is probably still the case unless they have been sweetened !

Let’s not forget this is basically a USA issue of unauthorised use. The UK Gov’t will have known the short comings involved, but that doesn’t excuse them of basically misleading the public into believing its efficacy and spending your taxes to the tune of £3b. Unlikely to see the UK pull the Innova Test straight away, albeit can’t see any renewed Contracts being offered either. Yes Aviation is a good example of polluting industry, although sustainable aviation fuel additive (SAF bio - based) is proven to dramatically reduce emissions yet is cost prohibitive to produce with limited production availability for widespread adoption. So far the UK prefers to provide token Research funding to solve these challenges, rather than direct meaningful fiscal support that would inject real pace into change. Until we see the Gatekeeper, ie. the Treasury, open the door a little, those renewable cans will continue down the road. We all want a greener planet but many want someone else to pay for it !

Also seems clear that Norway won’t meet its Climate obligations following this weeks announcement to allow Oil drillers to apply for any of the 84 blocks on the Norwegian continental shelf. 70 of the 84 blocks being in the country’s northernmost waters, the Barents Sea, with production licences expected to be granted early 2022. Obviously they don’t see any substitute for petroleum being available anytime soon !

Amigo will know what the FCA now require and will be trying to negotiate a better outcome, this is just making their worse case clear. Question being what is the FCA’s agenda ....think we know !

Governments talk a good story but rely upon private enterprise to solve their problems so I wouldn’t place any faith in that previous statement plus the Treasury will ensure it only gets a token research grant, as it’s not a vote winner. Little changes !

@mrc.....I’m sure you won’t regret it. I’ve a Portfolio of over 30 Companies and still reckon this one will outperform most, if not all, inside 18 months !
