Analysts always try and justify price movements when often it is more driven by sentiment and speculation than physical factors. Most will have known Iran showed two fingers to the US long ago knowing China was their saviour, any additional barrels they now bless the West with will be lost in the general opening of Global Markets. It’s a minor distraction.

The DoC has been with the MHRA for 10 days or so, they don’t rubber stamp anything so it’s no surprise we haven’t yet heard the verdict. Problem seems many here latch onto some posters who they feel have psychic powers and get easily disappointed !

That’s quite some turnaround and now with a Dividend, I frankly couldn’t careless about today or tomorrow’s SP, as will look again in 12 months time when expect to be pleased !

Been said many times here, but until detail of the refinanced Senior Credit Facility and OO are known, the SP will remain detached from fundamentals. At least the oil markets in a good place and getting better every day , so unless you need the cash best happily ride out this barren patch.

Seems AB’s focus is not the SP, given that further financial detail may well have been possible to provide. Would perhaps underline that the refinancing package is indeed on track and may have a bearing on the GE acquisition OO. Note to self, this guy doesn’t do excitement !

Market currently is surprisingly generous to potential investors here given we’re very much now risk off. Thankfully can use this calm to max. benefit as suspect the opportunity won’t last long.

The downtrend has been clear for a while here, so happy to sit on the sidelines awaiting a reversal but suspect that is still a little way off given the negative sentiment currently surrounding this sector.

As with many here I’m delighted with my investment in DVRG, as can sit back/ relax , whilst others are building what will clearly be a very successful Company, and eventually walk away with a large smile. It’s what makes investing such fun .....provided of course you find the right investments !

You just have to accept that a BB is not just for Shareholders, indeed others can help balance some of the more extreme views on either side of the Trade, but ultimately for those reliance on others views and opinion they really shouldn’t be investing, as you will never know someone’s true intentions. Best just look at others posted Research and balance that with your own.

At least all Politician's can be relied upon for one thing Rom. and that’s to change direction in order to catch votes. If the masses decide going Green is good for someone else but not themselves then legislation will be modified accordingly, expect mission creep ! It’s not remotely on my radar.

I see the lack of EV charging infrastructure was also the main reason quoted in the recent survey of 4,160 buyers who purchased an EV in California between 2012 and 2018. The findings show that 20% of plug-in hybrid owners and 18% of battery electric vehicle owners say their next purchase will be a gasoline-powered car. And most were the young who can’t afford their own home so installing charging points is a problem ....fairly obvious one would have thought, but obviously not !

prices may be providing a recent slight drag on SP having just broken $10,000 a tonne, a level not seen since 2011. Hopefully where Hedges can’t mitigate, costs can be passed on, but certainly not something to unduly worry about.

Yes compare this time last year SP circa 11p // Brent $30....some catching up to do here !

Many potential investors will have read today’s RNS slightly differently to existing Shareholders. As an onlooker it’s easier to distinguish Facts, from Aspirations and Rhetoric !

If we achieve stability over $70, I feel we can all relax !

At least Warren Buffett doesn’t have a problem with Oil ! . Having defeated two AGM motions this weekend (well he does control a third of the votes) calling for greater support and disclosure on climate change efforts and diversity, he went on to express an aversion to “moral judgments” on stocks — “If you expect perfection in your spouse, or in your friends, or in companies, you’re not gonna find it” — and said he had “no compunction” about owning shares in Chevron, the oil group.
His business partner, a mere 97 yr old ,not known for biting his tongue, concurred. “I don’t think we think we know the answer to all these questions about global warming,” Munger said. “The people who ask the questions think they know the answers. We’re just more modest.”

Chilts....maybe a question for the AGM ? . I’d be supportive of any initiative that gained us a few ESG ‘brownie points’ , provided it ran complimentary to existing Operations / Revenue streams and was financially sound, but the last thing we need now is for AB to get us
involved in a vanity project !

Whilst it’s commendable to see all these new initiatives I suspect the level of all Government’s support will start to falter given the level of burgeoning debt all will now sit under, post this Pandemic. I also look at the practicalities of trying to force change and the reluctance of most to accept alternative energy solutions unless it’s cost neutral and more convenient. For poorer Countries we’re decades away from real change. I live in an area where the average car is 12 yrs old, locals burn 3 tonne of hardwood every year for heating/ cooking, LPG is an expensive rarity and whilst we get over 300 days of sunshine every year Electricity ( mostly via Solar ) still costs a fortune partly as the Gov’t slap 23% duty on it, which discourages consumption. Of course better infrastructure exists in urban areas but more and more have discovered Zoom so a degree of social mobility is getting underway into the outback. So happy for others to undertake the development but don’t expect wider take up unless you can show there is a rapid cost benefit. Oil will dominate our lives for many a year yet so won’t be throwing my 10 litre Jerry Can away anytime soon !

I wouldn’t expect the UK Gov’t to purely focus on S/S, they’ll be working within acceptance parameters, cost and availability......the latter being why Innova capitalised, it never being a real concern it was generating (& still does ) so many false positives.
