There is some interesting confidential US research first undertaken many years ago but updated regularly, which analyses each Sector in the Market to show on average the best time to buy in, days to hold and then sell, for any Stock in that sector. I’ve checked it a few times as didn’t believe you could predict such patterns in a wider Market, but surprisingly it’s more right than wrong. As was never good at maths the laws of probability somewhat defeat me but clearly trading volumes do create patterns. Anyway a little of topic, let’s hope for a rising pattern today !

Question is are you all going to buy more if good news breaks....hopefully most of you otherwise any Markup could be short lived given this stock is currently driven by the short term Retail brigade, unless the II’s quickly move in ! As they say buy on rumour, sell on news .....good fun this game ain’t it !

Brent achieving $75 shouldn’t be that difficult, albeit in these volatile times, sticking there or above is another issue. We’re risen 30% since yr end in the belief the pandemic was entering its final chapter without real demand , we’re now seeing that demand beginning to kick in. We just don’t need Opec+ to become greedy again !

Seems the IEA are finally waking up to a fact many suspected long ago “ International Energy Agency predicted global oil demand and supply were set to rebalance in the second half of the year. It added that producers may then need to pump an additional 2 million bpd to meet the expected demand “. They are of course assuming Producers will play ball.....personally wouldn’t bet on it !

Currently it seems unlikely that AVCT has the combined Mfrg capacity to achieve more than several million tests per month, as AS recently stated. That won’t knock Innova off top step, irrespective of its known limitations. Just need to manage expectations.

Just give it time, the current ‘morally contaminant’ attitude to oil stocks will soon change when supply goes into catch up mode, albeit still a few months away I suspect.

Yes would be good to have a Sovereign test but we’re moved on since that ‘sound bite’.....until CV proves a verified product Gov’t planning will be focused elsewhere, not that a rapid U turn can’t be undertaken. It’s now getting interesting !

Thanks S.Tom. so in summary the Innova specificity was recorded as 99.68% - the overall false positive rate was 0.32%, although this was lowered to 0.06% in a lab setting. Sensitivity isn’t so good but perhaps not as poor as others suggest but gives ‘others’ room to improve !!. Appreciated & GL.

Seems that outside of Europe normality is returning at pace especially around Asia, flights between Oz & China ( 13+ hrs) will now be burning thro quiet a bit of fuel ! Q3 could get interesting !

Best we could have hoped for when average realised oil price of $41.3 bbl for 2020 achieved. We’ll be min 35% up on that now which will more than offset decline in Production so wouldn’t be too concerned.

@BJ...you asked about EU bureaucracy. Can’t speak for all Member States but couple of local recent frustrations
1. Annual renewal of Dog Licence, not an issue in itself but the poor chaps on his 9th renewal and each year they insist on seeing a current Pet Passport for him. No logical explanation is ever given, as local scruffs don’t travel, but he’s shown as an English Pedigree, so clearly they think he’s not to be trusted.
2. Just changed local Bank . Signed Agreement Form , translation not available but fine , but was then asked to countersign every single page ...over 25 Pages. Two were stuck together so one didn’t get signed ...had to return to Bank to complete.
3. My Partner took out local Residency recently, needed to show proof of income and where lived via Title Deeds, fine but was then asked to obtain 2 signed witness doc’s from neighbours on the Electoral Roll to confirm she actually lived there. Our nearest neighbour who’s over 80 has never been on the ER but votes anyway as his wife says ‘ oh everyone knows Joe’. He signed the form which was duly accepted !

All quite quaint in a way but as most stuff also then seems to get photocopied you just wonder about some of its effectiveness. Anyway its off topic, so will leave there !
