Well let’s hope the MHRA issue an exception to AVCT that their Test , whilst stated will be for Professional Use only, can be used for self certification....well they did that for Innova so every chance they will look favourably on a UK product !

Its all conjecture until we know the Governments long term funding plans on test and trace. My suspicions are that once the first annual vaccination program is practically completed, funded testing will be restricted to clinical diagnosis with all other Testing costs passed to the private sector. Just don’t expect the rest of society to pay for your Test that’s now necessary to get into Wembley !. Once COVID deaths via vaccination, fall in line with say annual flu the risks will largely be ignored other than by the more vulnerable either by age or an underlying health condition. Cheap & rapid testing as a passport to social activities will be where the new money is, and AVCT should be well placed there !

@wyn. would agree that mass testing within poorer countries just won’t happen, these people live exposed to deadly diseases as part of life, plus there’s no contest between having food or a test as certainly don’t expect Governments to foot the Bill.
For me the real hope is that AVCT produce a simple, effective and low cost test that the richer nations buy into, but over time as clinicians find more effective ways of dealing with C-19, its prevalence will diminish.

All good publicity although the Huff’s mention of ministers planning twice-weekly home tests conducted on pupils once schools re open seems a bit odd , given the AVCT test currently in the frame is for Professional Use !

Q.....if you didn’t hold RMS would you now buy in ?......guess if you want a gamble maybe, but as an investment case clearly not until more clarity is provided as there are far more appealing Companies around.

To buy now without knowledge of production shortfall and cash burn is fairly brave.....my concern would be what’s not being mentioned !

Would be easier to just pick up the phone and speak with Lemu, they’ll likely tell you expected times for commissioning, even if Mgmt didn’t think to ask !

any TU is pretty immaterial now, that’s if you are intent on holding these for a few years as many now will be !

and another good insight into the continuing trading conditions. This has been quite a transformational year for PFD, long may it continue !

I suspect many institutional analysts will now be awaiting the TU to add a little more perspective to what is currently known before making further commitment but the long term investment case here is now fairly compelling and fund managers will likely have little trouble in gaining any necessary sanction to invest. This could be quite a good year for AVCT !

quite agree but equally ironic that a Company who will potentially make a huge difference to people’s lives, gets a fairly modest acknowledgment to some terrific news today whilst many crypto currencies & related shares that offer no asset security or human valve other than to satisfy personal greed have recently gone into orbit ! Rather a sad reflection on where some folk place valve. Ps. Well done AS.

If there is a material change in circumstance they will need to inform the Market, a mere delay in commissioning is all part of the process. Be careful what you wish for !

and let’s not forget this is only one ‘small’ part of their development program, what’s not to like !

Interesting that Braveheart Investments SP rose over 70% today who I thought own about 25% of RMS, unless my info is out of date .....may give a little comfort !
