From YE Results “we have committed to deploy $15.0 million of capital in a share buyback programme during 2024." That seems fairly clear, so yes they need to crack on but obv. ML are wanting value for money so not looking to push the SP.

ICE . Wouldn’t let it worry you matey, but Chairman / Board disagreements on strategy aren’t uncommon plus you do realise the disparity between US / UK remuneration packages at CEO level. Unlikely but so many have been proved wrong here before ! Anyway it’s all a game GL.

Not forgetting the SP is also now linked to Dr Coughlin, pending a definitive CT outcome. She’s an impressive scientist, full of enthusiasm with good communication skills but still career driven looking at her CV. No doubt she saw an early opportunity here that could significantly elevate her personally if the trial data continues to impress but any early departure would kill the SP with her inside knowledge. Hopefully the Chairman has a good contingency plan as she’ll be on many Headhunter lists, but it’s just another risk he’s now added.

Whilst Dr Coughlin has impressive scientific and clinical experience, it’s her business skills that will now come under scrutiny. A CEO at CytoImmune which lasted less than 2 years isn’t a ringing endorsement. Would have preferred she retained her clinical role but maybe few external candidates were that attracted, so rather than wait EF decided upon a hasty solution with AS probably setting the deadline. Hence now acknowledges more weight is still needed .

In the City it’s not what you know ( quite a few are clueless ) but who you know !
