Slacker, unless you’re trading this I wouldn’t worry as personally can’t see any real SP movement for a long time yet, that’s OK with me as I’ve started slowly adding again on the basis there’s a good chance the worst is behind us. My time horizen is still 2 yrs out min.

Glad someone else has picked upon this, just highlights yet again the injustice inflicted upon what is a UK critical industry. We shouldn’t have to rely upon OPEC +, to help maintain a viable OP so our local industry can just about survive .

Donkey. Any CEO on top of his game should be able to easily answer any question thrown at him. Poor show if he felt the need to first check any questions sent in, so I would be extremely disappointed in him if that was the case. That said I didn’t waste my time listening in, having already studied all the data released so far.

D. If true you have to admire the legals for shoving in a Sunset Clause to ensure ongoing work for the next 20yrs. They obviously had in mind the likes of Red Mist Ed. floundering around at some point in time.

AS is a scientist, this is his hobby loves the work and as a bonus gets paid as well. He won’t get out if his ‘man cave’ just to pacify a few unknowns or should someone come along waving a few million to him, what would he do …retire, no far too young. His ambition won’t follow those of most investors, recent events told us that. This is a long haul for which none of us are currently getting paid ( dividends) for being on !

Those Short may disagree as the SP, like the gas they’re attempting to extract, is likely to remain inert for quite some time !

We just need the share buying programme to kick in before any serious re-rating may occur. ( always the optimist ! )

Given the inevitable delays you can expect in dealing with Tanzania bureaucracy and the pressure that will place on cash, it’s hardly surprising this will float lower over the next few months. Traders just need to be on the right side of the fence !

As suspected the Market seems rather underwhelmed with a trial that’s going rather well, what happens when delivery follows behind hype !

Suspect the Market will just shrug its shoulders again tomorrow, given we know the value it has placed on the known data so far . Only deals and /or revenue will drive this substantially higher, so still a long way to go.

Problem with a higher OP is it plays into the hands of those demanding ‘a proper windfall tax’ so let’s be careful what we wish for. As soon as Forecourt Prices rise the call for stronger Energy Punishment Levies will grow, which will appeal to the uneducated !

A Brand that passed its Sell By date long ago, assisted by very poor management so unlikely to now survive . Many moons ago sold out around circa £16 ……how times change !

Hi Romaron, yes I thought Dr Irfaan Ali was very articulate and absolutely right in highlighting the West’s hypocrisy in wanting every other emerging Nation to now forego its own development plans on the back of its natural resources, given we’ve already collectively benefitted from decades of O& G extraction. He was also magnanimous towards the likes of Exxon, having used their strength to negotiate highly advantageous terms for themselves, with little, I suspect, likely to flow back to help the Country ultimately transition. So in that regard refreshing to hear someone believe in the necessity of Profit and the sanctity of contracts and partnerships. Something seemingly now lost by our politicians.

Ps. no I don’t believe JSO hold annual conferences, their ability is limited to disrupting others !

This guy needs to address JSO’s annual conference. Guyana President neatly turning the table on the BBC’s Hardtalk presenter ( Stephen Sackur ) when getting accused that his Country could cause significant bio diversity harm from their new found Oil reserves . Watch from 14.55 onwards.

Agree Enq. are doing everything right but until we have long term Fiscal clarity and stability this Sector will I suspect largely be driven by Traders. Time to refocus our efforts on getting the message out there, that in terms of Energy Security we’re a valuable partner.

Perhaps that’s a better headline than “ Enquest delivers a $15m shareholder return “ which would only gall Red Ed supporters !

Seems the Finance Team have done a blinder there, given the EPL was shown at $76m at H1 .

Happy with that, just need to get into the Market and start buying some cheap shares before they take off , about 80m of them !
