No, just somewhat concerned that Avacta have tied themselves to a questionable partner. This performance was not professional. They need to up their game and quickly.

Unfortunately selling “whatever crap they like “ irrespective of its efficacy won’t hold Avacta’s products in a good light by such association. Tying themselves to Medusa was not a smart move and did seem somewhat rushed at the time .

Add to that about a years wait whilst the US SEC carries out its due diligence so effectively any US Listing could be 3 years away. Suspect they’ll be taken out before then !

Just wish their Underwriting was as inventive as their Long Term Incentive Plan award structure. With part of the CEO’s brief to achieve a “ relative Total Shareholder Return against a comparator group ....over the next 3 years “ , that seems like a no brainer !

Guess if you don’t already hold AVCT shares then you may have missed today’s news as it was released via ‘RNS Reach’ being a Non Regulatory announcement but AS is true to his word, in wishing to keep his existing investors up to date with developments, and not merely when the Company is forced to.

In as much that the new CEO doesn’t seem to have a dynamic new plan, more a case of focusing on the home markets plus Canada and likely selling off territories they are not capable of transforming. Does she not realise where the real global growth is ? . Always easier to shrink a Company than grow one. No doubt the next CEO ,in a few years time, will have a different plan.

Good steady progress being made but not surprised the wider Market is underwhelmed as it will now see Product Launch late Sept / early Oct. at the earliest assuming no hidden issues suddenly emerge. This was never going to be a quick win so Investor money will be temporarily used elsewhere for a short time, as there are too many opportunities currently around for day traders to sit here patiently.

A breakout seems now unlikely before the TU , and that should make an interesting read.
I see Lansdown increased their short 5 days ago , so this could be a nervous wait for some.

Not sure anyone can now accurately price this stock given there is so much unknown . Always thought those taking up the 900p placing had ‘rose tinted’ specs on....this could well test new lows but frankly who knows.

Currently finding it difficult to buy in any volume ? Can someone please offload 50k !

Those feeling over committed here are no doubt just rebalancing which is very sensible as this still isn’t risk free. Hopefully much time has already been devoted to refining the LFT to ensure it can be replicated reliably under mass manufacturing, which is key here. News within the next two weeks would be good.

Well if her grand strategic vision comes down to a reinst. of dividend we really are snookered. Just hope we’re not fed another load of bullsh*t straight from the McKinsey playbook although when you’re being paid £20,000 a week it’s probably the easy option. I hope I’m wrong !

From today’s RNS ....“Sanofi and GSK in advanced discussions with European Union to supply up to 300 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine“.....but this still realistically looks to be at least 12 months away and that’s assuming all clinical trials are a success. Plenty of time left for Avacta to succeed.

They should have just stuck with “ as soon as possible” which could easily take them into next year without reproach, but equally next week !

Yes was a little surprised they got away with a recent Placing price of 900p to strengthen the balance sheet. That £140m odd raised may start to come into play rather quicker than expected , as previous footfall will take quite sometime to recover given Pubs remain a non essential for many. It’s an avoid for me.

Yep, bit rich expecting the Tax Payer via the Government to fund a Statutory Licensing system which is worthless without ongoing Audits but guess if the task is too much for BOO then they need to rope someone else in. Beggars belief , but also says a lot about the Company !
