I would add to that list, that since then (when most people seemed completely overwhelmed by the climate change demands following COP26), the Russians invaded Ukraine and pretty well everyone has accepted that Europe must cut free from Russian hydrocarbons ASAP.
That, in itself acknowledges that hydrocarbons are NOT a thing of the past as well as the need to find alternative supplies, when BIG oil companies have been reducing their exploration activities, mainly in response to shareholders and well-intentioned nut-cases who have misled everyone about how quickly we can switch to renewables.
Also, Merkel, the author of much of the West's dependency on Russian hydrocarbons gave an absolute 'NEIN' to German nuclear energy, so they really are Effed.
So if you add all that to the list I gave earlier, there can be no doubt whatsoever that SL and the greater FI oil/gas reserves are GO, GO, GO and anyone on this BB who says otherwise is from another planet, an AIM stock trader, etc., so, as I said earlier, stay calm chaps and we WILL get some sort of award out of the ECT claim, even if not quite the £250 (or $250) that DEM mentioned in his post.
If you're reading this DEM, what's your opinion (as you always post good stuff)?
