Something is happening as the SP is rising with each trade on the plus mkts.

I'm afraid to go near this again, again, again. Ran a check on it by dumping a hypothetical 600quid in and not liking the get out point. Would need to play around £5000 for it to be valid and as it's VGM..... After so saying, when we last spoke about it in another forum, it was at a def buy in point and it has performed since. Think I shall wait for the retrace.

The buy signal to me was the traffic on the 10th which broke trend. Looking at it in 6months with a daily window, I really like the MacD position. Wasn't aware the share shortage was due to the retained holdings - not sure that's a bad thing. Or is it? Certainly, the RNS yesterday gave me some confidence.

It probably won't do the SP any harm if you chat in Regular.

Looks like shortage of shares in CRX. When I bought in yesterday, the only way to buy was a negotiated trade. This happened through my Halifax platform. However, this morning I could buy 10,000 quantities.

Bought rather a few XTA yesterday, deciding it wasn't going to go below 758... It dropped to 713 today before recovering so tomorrow may still give a viable entry point in this cycle. I'm really liking the underlying positions for XTA for at least the next week or so. Perhaps even more than CDI. Successfully produced RSI4 posits for every company in the FTSE Allshares tonight - takes around 20 seconds to do. Now, all I've got to do is figure out why none of my figures agree with ADVFN's chart positions. Assuming I correct the error comfortably, I'll email you the .CSV file after the close to give you an idea of the potential outputs. Because I'm too lazy to download all 656 company three year histories (and it's easier to test and debug with limited data), I'm simply importing the AllShare closing prices and volumes and unfortunately only have the last 4 trading days figures. So tomorrows csv will be RSI 5's. At this point, I'm 'only' producing RSI's and average volumes over the RSI period allowing the spreadsheet to be sorted accordingly and targets charted immediately on my seperate ADVFN monitor.

I surrendered to greed and bought in on the small retrace at end of day. So do you think it'll go to £1.00 tomorrow... <grin> Actually, I did read the report this morning and given the level of good news, was surprised the SP didn't fall further as seems to be the ongoing trend recently - fall on good news, up on no news, fall on bad news. May join in some of the Regular Chat tomorrow.

CDI are looking close to an entry point.

Agree with your logical entry price but a wee bit concerned as the the CCiMA movements over the last week viewing it Monthly with a Daily window. It looks like a nasty manipulation to trigger some sells / stop loss's prior to a sharp rise. Looking at the Buy/Sell volume ratio suggests it's breaking trend. Or in English, it's now on my front screen. Mull is an absolute blast for the Mull Rally in a few months - the atmosphere is wild and the weather often surprising. One year we took motorbikes and froze, another year we took a non aircon car and overheated in brilliant sunshine.

I've been sort of quiet as I'm puting a bit of work into my software project in the evenings. The two RSI positions I tested with real money last week have paid out, giving a rather firm imperative to the project. QQ. was nice 133->142), BA (213 -> 226), was nice. And XTA & RBS worth a look soon I think, both of which will deserve a five figure position. I chose to avoid REX as it's a RI based drop which I'm not happy mapping. I'd appreciate if you could take a look at the software when I complete it as there's bound to be a bunch of things I've forgotten. You may even find it useful! <grin> This is not a project I'm working on commercially btw. It's just a wee friends and family job and to be fair, most folk won't understand what they are looking at.

Thanks for the input. You hit on something I had not considered. Another area of importance is the frequency between peaks and troughs. There's no point in getting all hot and bothered about something which is going to take 6 months to escape. Been playing with dbase design over the weekend and working out the code. Literally only sat down at my PC this evening at 10pm as there are a few complex issues with this. I'm one of these oddball programers who does it all in his head first - though I have written down three lines of RSI equations - before settling down at the computer. I'd thought that as my previous life software work sounds like BS unless you know me, it would be an 60 minute knock up. It both is and isn't as the interactive data work across the FTSE allshare is quite messy but a doddle for a single epic. As for importing the FTSE all share figures, it's in the public domain though I think I'll link into a streaming feed from ADVFN.

I wanted to buy at 81p but HRH over-ruled me. Ouch. Kinda nervous about anything media at present due to the advent of 3D TV - 'twill make things unpredictable.

Guess you avoid TV also! Basically, I'm writing software which will provide the following info on one line. EPIC,SP,Chg %ge,RSI,RSI trend indicator (to tell if it's trending toward 30 or 70), Change in Average Vol ie, for tonight AV. 375.7,+5.44%,86.96,Trend High Up, Vol Down 6.907% Obviously, the above tells me on a daily play Aviva are not of interest as the RSI is pretty close to max and I don't have to look at a chart (unless I'm wanting to SELL!) The idea is to import the FTSE all share figures at the close each day and produce a table showing at a glance the RSI's for each share, along with other info to aid in making a decision as to whether to run a chart. I'm getting really weary doing the same thing night after night attempting to select my next targets. As I'm supposed to be good at software and very big numbers, it might be an idea to knock an application together.

Hi Moosh, Been playing with my FTSE Allshare closing price lists and decided to knock something together to give me a numeric RSI rather than going to the hastle of drawing a chart for each share in the index. Aside from the RSI Numeric, can you think of anything else which would be of use such as volume changes or whatever. Ahh - price ranges would be nice between previous highs and lows. My target design is a screen such as ADVFN Monitor only showing the stock RSI's ordered with direction indicators. Obviously, it will be possible to alter the RSI period to play with the tables but it's an interesting weekend job and more productive than doing the garden. Sorry, sitting here trying to brainstorm on my own as HRH is watching Big Brother...

Looks like the space has cleared for a decent rise next week. Also looks like my worries about RBS were right, only too late for me to do anything. Had I noticed the growth rate already in place before the bell, I'd have taken my 1,500 profit yesterday and bought back in today (maybe). Have I mentioned my problem with exit points before... (grin)

PVCS look just about ready for a decent upward twitch from my view. Comments really needed please.
