Oh, I'm jealous. I'm sure I am not the only one amazed at how much work the 'gang' did to ramp the SP. They had to research pretty thoroughly. (Google News is easy to start with) They had to build and understand a portfolio of information They had to tend three different websites virtually 24/7 They had to plant a deramper to ensure peaks and reversals A very profitable conspiracy. Or of course, it could all be genuine and I've grown accustomed to seeing the worst. PXS now seems to be gaining a degree of 'perhaps short term' respectability which is usually lacking in ramped shares. Me, I'm left with mixed emotions.

Perhaps not the worst mistake and at least my language was fairly temperate. <grin>

Not at all! I would hate to be in your position - it would be like deciding which one of my dogs I like least. However, logic would suggest that your FTSE stocks would require less care and attention over time and thus are safer to hold.

I went through your list and would recommend you go on gut. Given the state of the market presently, it's impossible to ID a share which has given all it can, so I decided to opt for those which look doomed. Ultimately, as Buffett says, patience is the winner. I'd hold the FTSE 100 stocks, personally. It removes uncertainty.

Apparently there are 80+ members of Premium but very few folk talking. Is it mainly Moosh and Riddler contributing with occasional incompetent mutterings from myself coupled with some coherent rumblings from others? Personally, I'm paying for Premium to get away from the inane ramblings in Regular and greatly appreciate the quality of postings here as there tends not to be too much frivolous discussion. The quality is such that generally Premium folk get a life after the bell rather than spending the evening in front of a PC. (Ok, I still spend the evening at the PC doing research or software design work) But I do wish more folk would start posting their thoughts.

I've got a daft theory. For a significant rise to occur, the SP almost always must retrace first. I've watched it happening with VIY this week, hope it will happen with Riddlers TEG tomorrow. Everything about this 'un looked good but it needed to get RSI2 down to zero. Job now done, fingers crossed.

I see it needing a slight retrace tomorrow to allow it room for further manouvre. If I see that retrace happen - or it opens down, I'll be there promptly & thanks!. Oh, my pet share, VIY, will be worth watching Friday.

The Regular Forum reminds me of that part from the Hitchhikers Guide (the original) when the hairdressers, dental hygenists & co are on a collision course with a planet but having a wonderful time. Can none of these people look at a graph. Anyway, it's been a great day as my newest exit point strategy has proven correct with PXS (not in it anyway) and XTA (thankfully out in profit.)

Seems like there was a reason for my interest. Dunno how this will finish.
