I've got a new theory.
Analysts keep wittering on about this 10% correction required on the FTSE, I actually do not think it's going to happen BUT will happen over the next few weeks on FTSE 100 members. If we use 57.2 as a recent logical resistance point on RBS, it gives a correction drop of 5.7p to a new bottom of 51.5.
Similarly, with XTA, 10% of it's recent logical high of 10.04 would bounce us down by a quid.
Running FIB's on these two suggest the correction point is correct.
Again, if this 'correction' happens in staggered stages over the next few weeks with various FTSE members, we're going to be in a period of opportunity with the FTSE itself not actually falling by 10%.
Just a theory and any comments welcome.
