Right, just ran a lunchtime scan of the market and I'm showing just 22 sell alerts and just a further 52 weak alerts. From my experiences over the last 10 days of testing this project, the indication is that we're due a very good afternoon. This is going to be interesting as I'm feeling very cautious about the market today. Last nights indicator was for a slight bias upward today but now... I'm feeling wimpy.

Very little change in the last few minutes of the day. 62 serious sell alerts and a further 71 which are telling jokes. Looks like a moderate up day Tuesday. The only two which I've acted on were AVM and SGRO. Not in BT-A but that's been three warnings today.

Decided to run a market scan with 15 minutes to go. Sell alerts have increased though not dramatically across the entire market. Current indicators are for a mild UP day tomorrow. No alerts yet for financials or miners (except VED) Anyone reading this, please be very aware this is an expermintal run of my software and it all may fall apart (I expect it !)

I've no idea!. But I'm (short term) working on the basis that I'm right for a change.<shaky grin> 'Twas interesting that the BARC SP settled where it did.

Look for the gorrila flickering green and off intraday (with trades) on one month/daily. However the sodding indicator works, it flashes indicision prior to confirmation (generally shown a few decimals after the event). We've started using a dedicated screen for this. Proving quite interesting with XTA at present. Arithmatic shows a potential of 1170 on this cycle but the market rules may inhibit such. I'd be inclined to trust Girella (prob because I can map it at the upper end. I think the lower end is based on previous day close and low current ntraday but need to write some changes to confirm)

Well that was an interesting day. I show 36 sell alerts for tomorrow (shares where my sums recon the price has maxed) which is just 3% of the stocks under analysis. Don't know who ATH are but that share leads the board in the list of those which logically should move down.

Err, something is happening with this SP. There were two transactions today (and nothing on the plus market) and the price moved up from 19 to 22.

I've this ongoing theory that the whole thing is being tightly controlled, different sectors being 'bottomed' gradually and those which are coming off bottom being inhibited from rising too fast. A glance at the intraday XTA on Friday tends to confirm the theory. It spent the morning gently building and then the 1:30 wallop smacked in.

Just sent you my analysis software along with the entire market data from 3pm today.

My indicators show that tomorrow, Friday is an up day. Last time I'd this few sell indicators at close, next was a 2% up day.

Oddly, the Times or Telegraph did a thing on that business recently. It is quite legit. You save the journey to a gold dealer and they pay you around 50% of what a dealer would. Or you go into town, visit a dealer (or even a pawnbroker) and get substantially more than the TV ad people pay. Simples.

Oh, PYC showed a warning for Wednesday but not sure if I can trust it due to the 'share price enhancement' market force involved.

Only 42 stocks show warnings for today, Wed. Looks like a up day as none of them are ones of note Except... The only warning in which I've an interest is AVM (looking for a buy opportunity as I like the low level trend) Added another indicator to my parameter list - where the av. volumes increase by +100%, the SP hasn't twitched and the OpenHigh RSI drops - may prove interesting short/mid-term parameter. As you'll gather, I'm like a child with a new toy.

Hi Moosh, this software alert thing is interesting but may prove a nuisance.. CN showed a +338% increase on 5 day MA volume today BUT the sell RSI is only at 43 which bodes well for tomorrow.

Looks safe from a glance at the techs for short term. Poor range today so looks ripe.

No point in me doing all this work if I can't beat the system! <grin> My initial target is short term as opposed to the next week(s), then I'll widen the references. So far, the results from last night seem to have worked out, though I notice they also neatly defined those shares which would open down. From a spread betting perspective, I think that may be a good thing. (I've not looked at that area yet)
