I dodged ACTA simply due to my exit point reticence. Been caught holding too high too often with such fast movers and smugly told my wife "just watch, the bottom is about to fall out of it" when it past 50% up. Like you, now trawling the charts to find the indicator I missed as playing safe by relying on past experience counts for nowt choosing the escape point.

Hi Moosh, Was very slightly squished when I wrote that. A very busy day yesterday and today. I've been playing with RSI's in some depth on daily views rather than my traditional RSI 2 and RSI 14 for intraday and have become sold on RSI 5 though still proving poor at exit points. Sold Barcs 12p before peak yesterday, LGEN 2p from best, and XTA 18p before peak.today. The plus side is I'm looking for another ACTA appearing from somewhere as we've obviously funds to use while waiting for the blue chips to retrace. (PRL are looking interesting, finally) From reading the techies about VIY,. I think it's a worthwhile hold for another 6 months or so as it's going to grow arithmetically rather than exponentially. How've you done this week?

For real boredom, try buying some PTY shares. One of my newbie errors. HGM seem stuck in either 40-50 or 50-60 range. No idea when or if they will finally break free but when they do, the next range will be 60-70. Or not.

VIY are a wee software company. One of their products identifies oil reserves and they've been clever enough to factor in a share of each find. So they've currently got 6% of two wells and 3% of another. Today, an RNS indicated a mid-level oilco was now using them as opposed to a minor league supplier. This is quite a big deal as their intial customers were the equiv of 'Farmer Brown who supplies The Big Milk Company". Essentially, they've moved from Farmer Brown to a entire state county. So, their SP surged by a massive 6.67%. I've spent the last two weeks watching some pretty large buys coming through, an RNS which suggests BARC increased their holding to 7% of the company now (presumably for a client) Basically put, this seems to be a stock where it's raining "Good News and Potential" and the price fails to surge in a market where a West African Copper mine can issue an RNS mentioning they are using M&S toilet paper rather than Andrex and the SP gets 40% gains. I tend not to subscribe to MM conspiracy theory but don't understand what's going on. Any thoughts welcome.

Posters here only appear every 100 years or so. Currently in an uptrend for the next few days in my opinion but the volumes are proving a wee bit low.

Watching Doomburger, listening to a talking book in my right ear(Harry Potter read by Jim Dale), monitoring share prices and dealing with holidaymakers who seem to feel hot water is important just about wrecked me today. (I've a house up north which does rather nicely for weekly rentals. Heating system packed up yesterday though) SHG look indifferent tomorrow (Tue) but in a week or so may be pretty interesting.

You won as I'd a 6% against your 13% raise today. But BLNX spread wins... (3.9 v 16.7%) <big grin>

Dunno if I qualify but my reading is that it's still heading for its second bottom sometime within the next couple of weeks.. The RNS does not read to have sufficient "pixy dust" to cause an immediate surge in the SP given the underlying trends. On a daily view with a one year window; RSI trending down since April - not at viable buy in point yet OBV trending up since April but finally reversed Slow stoch trending down since April MACd now gone negative. But after so saying, it's now on my radar.

I've 19 shares in play - some under tradeplans, most not. When my wife is abroad and we've an UP day such as today, it can be quite tense monitoring the 5 nearing exit points. Ultimately, escaped from XTA as it looks like a small retrace is pending. Now I can take the dogs out, go shopping... and get on with life. Re, your comment about giving EME an ASBO. Concur absolutely.

I'd left a note asking for your thoughts on BLNX as I think we're at a valid entry point. Additionally, whilst AU. look good for a laugh this week, I'm nervous about the FTSE posit as a wee retrace looks probable later in the week - down to the 4200's.

Just picked up on this one from a daily view of the share movement. Each time it shows a chart posit like current it seems to show a decent rise shortly thereafter. Any opinions welcome before I agonise over an entry point.

If you didn't dump your RBS shares today, you may have a small window tomorrow early on as it's starting its retrace on my chart.

I see it being trapped in the range until August with a few breaks upwards but unsustainable. I think it's in one of these breakout attempts today. Next hard fallback looks like the end of next week. However, my crystal ball was borrowed for the new Harry Potter film and they haven't given it back yet. <grin>

The total lack of Premium Chat today suggests the market was slightly busy! Nice to be back at work.

<grinning> I was hoping the price would tick up immediiately I wrote that! Quite a frustrating day in the market - managed to trap myself in rather a few shares so down to small sums to play with and not seeing many valid targets.

They are part of a pack I tend to keep an eye on. Sometimes their activity works and you can grab a quick 20% before sanity rears its head.

Hi there and welcome to Premium. Don't know anything about this company financially but from glanciing at their chart positions, I'd personally be inclined to steer clear.
