Its all hypothetical of course but SAE are looking to "build out our fleet of fuel production plants across the UK" (FLEET) and here we have an ex board member of SAE who is now Chairman of Viridor, who are looking to sell off some recycling assets and SAE have also welcomed Stephen Hodges to their team, who is a waste sector specialist who most recently held the position of Director of Engineering at Viridor Waste Management Ltd.....

I know you’ve already had the RNS answer regarding coming at anytime - as a good example of why the need to check on a regular basis is so important - look at AEX - different Sector I know but an RNS dropped at 1:42pm yesterday and the SP spiked over 150% up before close! I’m not saying for one minute that we get anywhere near that but an early afternoon RNS stating we had permit approval would be rather nice!

Morning all, some more great bits of research OT. I always get a little excited in anticipation for a 0700 RNS and then always feel deflated at 0705 when the red dot isn’t seen above, ha!

I can feel a Friday top up coming up! 23.88 to buy now. Surprisingly excited about the opportunity to maybe add a few extra shares given the amount of extra info we have added to the board this week

BDD - don't pay any attention to the colour mate - it's 23.98 to buy live, the only sells are the ones around 23.5p. Even if every one of the trades listed were sells, they only add up to £21k so I'd be worried if that affected the SP.

Morning OT, that info was already on the NRW correspondence before they requested more time according to date of release so that, coupled with the fact the SP only dropped by circa 3p tells me that the request is simply that they need just that; more time. It’s a huge programme of events to take into account and scrutinise and like a fair few have said on here in counter argument for their reasons for staying and not selling - NRW just need to be sure. Hopefully we’ll see another blue day and an end to the week that is different from last Friday! OHS

SUP Response:. Following recent and extensive engineering assessment SUP can commit to meeting Waste Incineration BAT-AELS for new plant in Phase 1 and Phase 2. SUP are in a position to revise our responses described as “medium” and “low” in our answer to Q2 of Schedule 5 dated 04/06/20, to “high” in our answer 11/09/20. See below revised Table 1 - key BAT requirements, AEL and SUP’s current position on the likelihood of meeting the AELs.

Question 2. Please provide written assessment of the ability of the proposed facility to meet the requirements of the Waste Incineration BAT Conclusions for new plant, including BAT-AEELs for energy and BAT-AELs for emissions. Your revised assessment shall fully consider not only the BATAELs, but also the techniques described.

SUP Response : We are prepared to engage constructively with you to identify options for obtaining a permit for the plant on the basis of its classification as a “New Plant” rather than, as we contend, an “Existing Plant”. However, this engagement is strictly under reservation of our right to rely on that contention in future. SUP can confirm the intent to assess the ability of the proposed facility to meet the requirements of the Waste Incineration BAT Conclusions for new plant, including BAT-AEELs for energy and BAT-AELs for emissions. Whilst we confirm the intent , we reserve the position to request derogation related to chemical species that are challenging to meet New WIBref ELV’s.

Like I said after they posted; Wow! It was a very well formulated post and unquestionably not the kind of post you expect from a first time poster! So then you have to ask yourself the questions; who are they, what is their agenda/reasoning for posting? Derogation isn’t something I had thought of before reading up on Lynemouth and probably something SAE I would hope would professionally try to avoid as it makes a mockery of the whole BAT-AELs system imo. I don’t know enough about this subject to have much of an idea how different the emissions would be and how that changes again next year outside of the EU. It’s been 6 days since the request for more time and nothing has been updated on the NRW site. I stand by my sell last week but must admit I thought it would drop more. After a couple of days hovering around 22p I had to re-evaluate and when Boris made his statement regarding green energy, that was the catalyst to retake a position here. As I’ve always said, UPS was the reason I was here but now MeyGen is giving me a comfort blanket to hold on to! Exciting things to come I think. OHS
