Bridges - I still don’t understand what meetings they need to have ‘face to face’? If the licence is awaiting ratification, what are they requiring a meeting for? If they had said they were awaiting a meeting to finalise the licence prior to submitting for ratification then I would understand and accept that but they have stated the licence is awaiting ratification. Can anyone explain the process? Or give a good answer as to why they need a meeting? Many thanks, OHS

The following is from the corporate update RNS 03/04/2020:

We are ready to initiate the Tano 2A work programme, as soon as the signed Petroleum Agreement is ratified, and subject to securing the necessary funding.

Clontarf also notes the passing of insolvency legislation that may assist in the recovery of all of our original Tano 2A coordinates. There now appears to be a legal structure enabling the authorities to recover 529km2 of the original acreage Tano 2A acreage over which Clontarf signed, with partners, a Petroleum Agreement, and which is now awaiting ratification.

They say it in black and white - awaiting ratification. Why are meetings needed? The license is with parliament so why has it not been ratified? They don’t get invited to sit down with them and have tea and biscuits and discuss ratification. I honestly don’t know why I bought in here again!

Exactly Bridges - why are we still waiting? How long are the BOD going to continue spouting out drivel in the RNSs. We are clearly not just waiting ratification otherwise we would have had it already as they are sitting and ratifying licences. There must be something else? It’s either waiting ratification or it’s not but they said it is awaiting ratification so why hasn’t it been ratified?

Q - If Parliament is sitting and can ratify licences (https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2020/07/20/2064257/0/en/Cardinal-s-Mining-Licence-Receives-Sovereign-Ratification.html), what is the hold up with CLON if we are simply only awaiting ratification?

OT, I had a read after you nodded to this on the SAE board but only got as far as the latest report and when I read the following, I didn’t go any further:

The Board recognises that future growth will, in part, be dependent on the availability of future funding whilst acknowledging that our major shareholder, Arrowgrass, publicly declared on 13 September 2019 that it is looking to divest its investment in the Company. We maintain a constructive dialogue with Arrowgrass and we continue to be focussed on maximising value for all shareholders. The Board notes that the future strategy of the Company may include proposals to dispose of and/or reduce the operations of certain subsidiaries in order to accelerate further returns of value to shareholders.

Have you looked into this part and found that they no longer are looking to divest as this was last Sept?

OT - take a look into QFI mate - I just bought earlier and the ask has now ticked up. Expecting blue soon

I've just bought some as an 'educated gamble' for a short term rise based on previous knowledge and as a stop gap in the SAE lull (hopefully, ha!)

Anyone been invested in QFI before? I've been in and out a few times. Contemplating another entry as there's quite a few things on the horizon for them. Thoughts appreciated. OHS

Great post Phyl, I completely see your points and feel they are well supported and valid. I also agree with you for the most part but the niggle won’t go away and like so said, I’m quite rash when substantial amounts of money (to me) are on the line. As before, I’m only out of this for the short term until I feel it’s a little more secure, both SAE and the market as a whole. OHS
