Yes, looks like they 'fine tuned' the method to produce subcoal at the TSP plant (Teesside) and are now upgrading the Dutch plant from what they learnt at the UK plant. Its another piece of the jigsaw mate. Also, great find Sam with the article you posted this morning. I also recall something OT (I think it was you?) regarding some politicians visiting the site a couple of months ago - wonder if this is the next step from that visit? Again, another step in the right direction for for MeyGen - I think we are sat on a potential goldmine of a share for next year! OHS

Hi OT, I believe this was the strategy when it was SIMEC Subcoal Fuels but as SIMEC are no longer partnered with N&P directly (we’re now a JV called NPA Fuels Ltd - presumably standing for N&P Atlantis) this may have changed. I still believe we will stockpile before selling but that’s not to say the Dutch plant won’t sell - I read somewhere they were increasing capacity - I need to find that article. If we are now in a JV with N&P for subcoal, can we assume the Dutch subcoal plant is now part of NPA and not just N&P?

OT, it’s all good stuff mate - the technology is there and the potential is mind blowing as we know but until something changes with the CfD, it’ll never get the attention it so deserves......but, I strongly believe the next round will include tidal as a separate sector and if that occurs - Arden will have to seriously re-evaluate their 77p valuation imo!

Route to Market PPA – exporting to the Grid at the wholesale electricity price Uskmouth Power Station has an existing ‘Route to Market’ Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) in place with Marble Power Limited, a power company owed by the GFG Alliance and can sell up to 100% of its generated electricity at the prevailing wholesale price of electricity. (When the first 110MW unit is estimated to begin generating in September 2022, we estimate this will be c. £45/MWh). This agreement has a floor price embedded in the PPA of £30.90/MWh, partially indexed. (This Route to Market PPA can be terminated without penalty by either party from 21 June 2020 under a provision which allows for exit if financial close has not been achieve
by that date). We would expect the Company will either extend the terms of this PPA or enter into a Route to Market PPA with another party with a stronger balance sheet.

OT, it's this line that is different from the original article: "Over the summer Liberty said it had recruited Danieli to supply a “Q-One” electric arc furnace. 'Recruited to supply' - original article was to 'develop' so I took that as a scoping study of what would need to be done to incorporate an EAF. It could be me just clutching at straws for that 'Friday Feeling' as we're red today :( I have another couple of threads I'll post in a minute with other avenues I've been exploring today - One is a statement in the Arden Report and the other is a further Liberty Steel development regarding Arc Furnaces

OT, I watched that Biomass episode you mentioned - wow!! I never realised the sheer scale of its operation. The amount of coal it must have been burning through is crazy! And that’s just one plant in the UK - it certainly opens your eyes further as to why we need to look to green energy as the future - if the planet is to have a future (deep I know). Having said that and having already read up on DRAXs pellets, I do not support the pellets they manufacture; hardwood pellets from sustainable forests is still simply burning wood at the end of the day. I also felt that seeing the size of the DRAX plant in the documentary further supports SAEs perfect choice in choosing SUP as their conversion.

It is indeed already in. I’ve been monitoring it daily since my early investment here. It’s up to date as well as an element of it changed after the NRW requested more time for decision

Just tried some live price trades - no deal at £5k down to £2k, got a price of 21.60 for £1k though so looks like either a buy order is being filled or limited shares available? Could see another tick up coming soon
