It’s good to go back read something like this, especially when, like you say, certain elements are coming to fruition! The ‘mother of all corrections’ line was a particular favourite of mine! Thing is though, he said that when the SP was around 7p so we’re 300+% up from there already - Id like to see if the recent news is going to warrant an amendment to the Arden Report target price?

I don't recall watching this before https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndBvRWlTeao&feature=youtu.be but although its a year old, its a good watch - it was produced when it was N+P Alternative Fuels Limited as opposed to the new JV of NPA Fuels Limited so I'm not sure whether everything they mention in here is still relevant but the key points I picked out were at minute 01:34 - interview with John Wylie who mentions 7 projects in the UK which will produce up to 1.3MT of subcoal and min 02:00 when the narrator says something odd - he states that the conversion at SUP will produce 850KT of subcoal which will be sent to Liberty Steel for steel production? Was this maybe their first idea - to convert SUP into a subcoal production and send the pellets to Liberty?

Yes but once again, not allowed to gain it’s true and justified SP momentum until the EP is achieved

At a very quick glance though - Pot 2 also includes dedicated biomass with CHP - would this also apply to SUP?

Ha, no mate, I’ve posted on SAE as well - are they not showing up? I can see them. This is an odd one - very quiet - too quiet and little to zero interest - not even some random speculative buys. I thought my posts would have attracted some conversation. Another positive day at SAE wrt the SP but like I said on there. I feel it is being suppressed due to the uncertainty of the EP. I feel the more BJ bangs the drum about green energy, carbon capture and zero carbon emissions the less it feels like SUP is the future of what the UK is trying to achieve. But having said that, a balance needs to be struck as it’s no better just filling holes in the landscape - at least the potential of SUP is alleviating that concept whilst providing power without burning fossil fuels

I believe that the way this SP has risen and then subsequently fallen back over this last week is pointing to the fact the mm’s are holding this back purely on the NRW EP decision. There is too much positive news, increasing investor support and media attention on tidal energy to justify the current SP being held around this level imo. I’m very interested to know where this would be if we already had the EP. It’s frustrating as the gains we could be making are unjustly being smothered and by the time we get the EP, won’t have the impact they deserved. It’s a shame really

Yes. I followed a link from a post yesterday that said a report from the European Commission was due out yesterday but later that afternoon the date had changed to today. I had hoped BJ would have actually mentioned the word ‘tidal’ in his 10 point plan but as ever, he just keeps banging the offshore wind drum! Hey ho, 23.0p bang on live price to but now though :)
