The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
OT - you missed American Express, Standard Chartered and Deutsche Bank! Keep up the great research SC and OT - glad to see it's not just me who uses LinkedIn more than google for research! ha!

That’s more like it. Some fairly sound reasoning to justify taking an investment position. I’ll leave the Australia distribution agreement alone (for now). Do you have any concerns regarding cash burn v revenue?
No, I didn't miss that post. I did however miss your post about any of the questions I asked though (insert tired yawny face emoji here) Can one of your replies today please give your positive (or agreed negative) stance on any of the points I mentioned. I'll reiterate, I would welcome the opportunity to read the opinion of a positively minded ZED investor who can post their opinion on why the Australia contract (that has been live for over 6 months now, having started in Jan) has provided zero updates on sales. They have released one RNS for some European distribution back in March but I've seen nothing for Australia - would you assume that any distribution in Australia would have been RNS'd like the European one? Also, your thoughts on any possible coincidences between the Haven product's inventor and the list of named share holders in the IPO? If you don't know, just say so and we can save us both the time of you firstly having to piece together an 'avoid and deflect' post and me secondly having to read it.

Morning Blue - did you manage to do some further research over the weekend and find any info on the topics I mentioned?Or is posting a link to the RNS which is already readable on the LSE tab above the best you can do? Do you want to use your ‘ask the audience’ lifeline for some help?
Blue - my questions are precisely open ended for that reason, allowing the formulation of any answer, rather than a selection from a set of possible answers, as per the definition of opens ended. As for rhetorical, I suppose they could be viewed that way, as they do imply a particular statement from my part, but that doesn’t mean they can’t or shouldn’t be answered. As you seem to have taken a positive view of ZED and mine is no longer so, could you find the time to research the questions I have posed and post your views rather than me posting my findings on these points? As these were my main concerns that persuaded me to sell my holding, it would be a good balance of opinion to read any positive views on those particular points. If you can’t find anything then let me know in here and I’ll perhaps post a link to help steer you in the right direction, but it’ll probably be on Monday as I doubt I’ll check in again until then

Blue - If you read further back you will see that I was quite a supporter of Zenova and the 'potential' that some of the RNSs lead me to believe in. My research, if you have read back, probably far surpasses yours and it is for that reason that I am no longer invested in ZED. I am well aware of The Haven product and that it is/was a powder suppression system - are you aware of who the designer is? Have you researched all the significant share holders listed in the IPO document and found any similarities? Have you researched the current patents pending for the extinguisher and the ceiling suppression system? Have you checked when they were submitted and when they are expected to be released? Have you researched the Australian company and the personnel detailed in the IPO for that aspect? Have you found any details of that contract? Any sales?....... I wonder if you'll find all that on Google?
Alaric - are you including The Haven as one of these 'small companies' trying to gain exposure?
BD - Have a look into a product called The Haven https://havenfiresafety.com/
BD - have you researched the Zenova CS product? You may find some interesting connections there
Been a while since I last posted on here but one I read daily none the less. It seems Uskmouth still has some fight left in it and this latest instalment of potential projects actually sounds quite plausible so I'm looking forward to seeing the application submitted to NCC for a proper read. In the meantime, stumbled across this whilst researching other potential 'green energy' options for their Energy Park - Click on the following National Grid link https://www.nationalgrideso.com/industry-information/connections and select 'Download the TEC Register' - TEC being Transmission Entry Capacity (TEC). Line 837 identifies 'Uskmouth - New Connection (last update for spreadsheet was 14/06/2022) and the Customer Name as 'ENSO GREEN HOLDINGS E LTD'. Enso Energy https://ensoenergy.co.uk/ is, "is one of the UK’s most experienced renewable energy developers, with an unparalleled focus on solar energy".
Interesting food for thought and further discussion?.......or just a coincidence?......

blue - Have you found anything regarding any sales in Australia which was a £2m distribution agreement due to commence in January? That was RNS'd over 6 months ago and no sales mentioned since? How about Pelling? Any further developments there or orders for their projects? And the 2 London Borough approvals? Any info of sales there?
A £2m agreement for sales in Australia, a 9.8m Euro deal and now the SP only rises 3% on news of a distribution agreement with Saudi Arabia?!! Only a month and a bit to go before Directors can begin selling their shares - end of July will be interesting to see if volume changes.
Yawn. I recall a similar RNS about a distributor in Australia. How’s that working out?………
Results - Pretty much a regurgitation of the Admission Document and RNSs. Zero info on revenue other than a value of £6k - so a sale or sales of product between Jul and Nov of only £6k? When will we hear some actual info about who the Australia contract is? If OMNIS and BSS have been mentioned in RNS and now on their respective websites and social media coverage, why not the Australia one? This is supposed to be a £2m contract but I've read nothing of who they are?
I guess market needs to know actual order revenues though? I must admit, I now find it quite tedious to read their RNS when they reveal so little. Hopefully the results in next few weeks will allude to some actual figures: How much has Australia contract sold so far? Has Pelling's contractors actually ordered any Zenova paint now they have been specified? Has any paint been supplied to NHS contractors now Zenova are a 'trusted partner'? Will the order/volume values be detailed for the European customers so far? How much has Omnis and BSS sold so far? All key info we need to see the exposure Zenova have made in this sector
OHS
Agree. Product looks sound. Videos are great. Omnis are really pushing the products on social media for the US. Need to see what Australia 'contract' is doing though...... I've found nothing on that front and that was the first main contract they reported
I know the link, I posted it. WG wouldn't give the contract to Zenova. At best, they would get 'specified' for use by local authorities for use as a fire protection product before contractors can use it in council owned buildings (see London Borough RNSs). Lots of noise from them with being specified by Pelling, trusted NHS partner, shipping to European customers, Australia £2m contract etc.... but no actual revenue figures mentioned yet. Results will be interesting as most of this news has come after end of Nov last year (which is what I believe is the end of reporting period)
OHS
Gives out the contracts to who Earl?
Well that's a welcomed surprise! Just goes to show how quickly this can move on a little change in volume

Now this would be a very nice piece of the £580m pie:

"In its full Budget published today, the Welsh government confirmed it will spend £310m in Social Housing Grant in 2022-23, up from £250m this year.
The Budget also confirmed plans to spend £330m on Social Housing Grant in 2023-24 and £325m in 2024-25.
The spending was first announced in the draft Budget in December, but has now been confirmed after consultation.
In addition to the Social Housing Grant, the Budget also confirmed £580m for the decarbonisation of social housing in Wales up to 2024-25."

Looks like Zenova are partaking in a project in South Wales:

Social Housing # 'hashtag' could be a pointer to this:
https://gov.wales/optimised-retrofit-programme
'Optimised RetroFit (ORP) is a whole house, pragmatic, approach to decarbonising existing homes. It is far more sophisticated and bespoke than previous schemes. It takes into account the fabric or materials homes are made from and the way we heat and store energy. It also takes into account how energy reaches our homes.
It is open to Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) and local authorities (LAs) to install a variety of home decarbonisation measures in existing social housing stock.'
