A nice aquisition to start the day off then!! Bolts on perfectly with existing fidh biz and cost only £320,000 for 51%. Looking at the deal offered to 49% holders Lonrho expect to triple turnover out of this fairly short term. However useful an aquistion, this obviously cannot for the recent SP movements. Far too small a deal. In fact, it can only enhance situation.

Check after hours trades. Big stuff again and I am not sure at all that those 3 last (late) sells aren't in fact discounted buys of some kind. Why would you sell at 18.35p when ordinary bid is 19p? Target for this I don't have because of the situation. Looking perhaps to topslice 33% or even 50% if I can find around the top of the current spike which rumour (and it is only rumour) suggests could be as high as late 20s. ATB

MM's trying to shake out a few sellers. Always interesting to watch! They ain't having mine though!

Support at 19p is very deep. Out of 60 trades only 6 or 7 are sells. Always tricky to work out MM's pricings!!!?! In this case they may be trying to offload those overnight biggies and at the same time scare out a few sellers, but that is pure guesswork! Law to themselves! Expected a retrace today but tomorrow will be interesting maybe. At least we have a bit of excitement here unlike most other positions I hold.

Yankie thanks for getting DOST to show L2 and thanks again to DOST for showing. There were some big overnight late (2 day old) sells and so it opened 75p down this morning with a few more biggish sells. However 3 big 'ordinary' buys this afternoon in half hour around 2-30/3pm amounting to 1.2m shares. Buys STILL outnumber sells roughly 3v2. Expected retrace today but story not finished I don't think. Comments DOST? Comments anyone?

Whole market is 'difficult'. So many bb's with guys saying their SP is ludicrous etc. I am in VOG too, and my whole PF is just so red but it will change. Just wish I had more to invest right now but I am full. Wonder what we have ahead with this little baby? Anything blue would be fine with me.

Need L2 for that resistance point mate. Know anyone on BB's who could have a quick look for us?

Just spoke to Lonrho Investor Relations. Didn't appear to have anything other thatn speculate that rise could be because of money coming in from bigger boys now we are on LSE proper. Not sure that's the reason but could be part of it. Momentum is stronger on main board once it is started. But what kicked it off in the first place I wonder?
