Big buys late on and after hours.

My bet would be on an RNS after hours to give big boys a chance to get in before market reopens tomorrow. Complete guess though. GLA

Can't be tomorrow if they want to impress investors in the presentation tonight. Important news must go to the market (by RNS) first. They can't just pull a rabbit out of the hat tonight . It's not allowed.

Agreed, unless they are leaving until late in the day (eg 4.30pm or later) If so there is certainly no leak of good news. No buys at all this morning but a few sells going on.

Confirmation of more stakebuilding. L&G now over 3%, following Blackrock over 10%. They are getting them cheap and buying continuing today.

mm's bounced this off 16.5p today. Lovely top-up point, thankyou! Still buys outnumbering sells but MM's still holding.

Well, I am assuming there is something new and good to tell alongside reiterations of what is already known. Otherwise why spend the time and money? RNS before, in that case?

3 v 1 buys to sells. Mainly ordinary trades. 18p buy looks OK. Will MM's let it go yet? Not yet until one or two bigger trades put pressure on.

3m bought in 3 deals and another 2.4m 'unknown' in 2 deals. Buys v sells = 7 v 1

1M+ deals are still continuing so seems like someone is still stakebuilding on the cheap. With a general rise on the market and, as you quite rightly say, August Week 1 for Q2 update, I reckon SP could go up a bit yet in the intervening period cos afterwards maybe too late for stakebuilder to buy under 20p for example. Agree that further aquisitions are defo. not out of the immediate equation. The cash is there and business is producing decent revenue now. Have a good weekend and steady with those beers!! ATB

Long time no hear! Interesting explanation. Today there must have been 12-15 of these in a row ranging from about 200 down to 2 shares. You would have thought that if the total required was say 956 then it wouldn't have needed THAT many small 'sells' to make it all fit. Maybe its just a bit of MM housekeeping! Have you got a take on the recent/current SP movement? ATB

2 x 1.5m buys immediately following a series of miniscule sales (eg 2 shares!!) Was this an MM's code? Saw it before on previous rise I think. Watching closely what's next. A litlte daily rise to start with, I'm hoping.

Touched 18.5p today at one point so could be on the up again after recent temporary retrace. Whoever has been accumulating here hasn't finished yet, I feel. Interesting tomoz !

All gone quiet. MM's might take this down as far as 16.5p before turning it. I'll be waiting if they do!

Gels: No probs mate. I was wondering what I'd done wrong actually. ME: The 'new' bit I got was that the drill for the underground mine was up to 3500m and proceeding right on schedule. Last fig was 1700m I think. Now looking forward to July Q2 prod figs. I've not finished buying on this one yet I think! GLA

Have seen presentation now and not sure you have it right Fern. The way I read it was they have produced 55k oz from thestart of the mine till Dec 30 2010, not from Dec 2010 to now. Am I wrong? Things do look good though, and underground work seems steady OK. GLA

Brilliant! Fern, can you clarify that 'since Dec' means 'from Jan1' and not 'from Dec 1'? That would make a big difference to numbers. Still can't open doc so 'blind' ATM. Thanks guys
