You've made very fair points as usual mate. For sure they need to sharpen things up and the fact they had to respond to SP pressure says a lot. Much talk here about Fly540 and I would have to agree that I (and you I think) always felt this was a bit 'ambitious'. They were I felt trying to build a 'Virgin' type brand for Africa, so agree with Zedds's comments that they should take a hit on the airline business and concentrate on what I would call their core markets. 15m late buys That's over £1m

You seem to be doing some real in-depth research here but I am starting to wonder why. Are you holding, because this is starting to look like a big deramp to me? Nobody is pretending that everything any company does is 100% right but I haven't seen you mention one thing in favour, yet lists of things that you find wrong. Very strange (to use your words)

Not sure that first sentence holds up really. Otherwise we could say that a big sell-off was really good because it meant that those shares sold off were bought by someone. Bit thin.

Remember that this is not an AIM share anymore. It's on main FTSE now this year so moves a little bit more with the general FTSE index. Results should continue upwards as the biz is built up with bolt-on aquisitions. Next results will be very interesting.

Around June time there was a rumour about a possible t/o with a late 20's SP talked about, and certainly some very big accumulations happening on a daily basis just about. Ran out of steam at just over 20p and big buys stopped. Been sliding down with the general market ever since.As Clainy says, absolutely nothing wrong as far as I know. Profits up 35% in fact. It's like so many other shares, 40%+ undervalued. We sit, we wait. It will turn.

Well you've just come across another now, because I have traded Lonrho as far back as the Tiny days and I've done very well thankyou very much! Pivi1962 speaks for me too. I think we should be talking about 2 successive quarter rises of over 30% turnover and how Lonrho is being developed.

Don't know about the Wallmart situation but if they are entering the SA market it would be a possibilty for Lonrho to tie-up something with them on the agri-food supply side and the support services/transport. However, wouldn't have thought this possibility would affect the SP too much since Lonrho is so diverse in its portfolio of busineses. What we do know it that at least 2 insitutuional buyers are hoovering up shares on this silly market but that they seem prepared to pay up to 21p if they have to. ATB

Thanks for that. My reaction is that HMB have a PR sensitivity of zero! 'Charles' obviously doesn't hold stock of any other company otherwise he would realise that 'reports' are the ONLY thing we have to check on our precious investments and are therefore VERY important. As for not specifying a date any more, well, that's just a brilliant solution isn't it???? Hope he reads this and gets a grip a bit!! RANT OVER!

The logic was that the update promised by the end of June would be excused for being late as it was to be used as part of the presentation to attract more investors. So much for logic AND promised timeframes! Disappointed, I have to say.
