Since I wrote about this company the shares are up by 20%. And I'm sticking to my £2 per share in 17 months. The key to analysing retailers is where their CASH GENERATION coming from. There is potential to take part in India growing energy capacity, but you can’t do it with OPG Power. In my opinion, OPG Power is serving their lenders (with interest payment exceeding 10% of total borrowing). If there is one advice I would give to investors, it would be this: “Not every Like-for-Like Sales data is created equal.” And Carpetright is one example. Shares are down because of the purchase of Regal Entertainment for $23 per share or $3.35bn (�2.5bn) financed with debt and Rights issue. The problem I see is Regal has net debt of $2bn or �1.4bn on their books vs. Cineworld's �280m.
