Hot Thanks for that, as always a swift, helpful and useful reply. Ill top it top again on Thursday night and reduce stops even more if necessary. I can always take the funds back out, if I need too. A bit naughty closing your entire positions out though, I guess this is where they make their money. I will take a look at finspread at some point, it sounds a bit kinder. I just got a margin call i didn't quite understand what that was all about. I do now!! Do you know at what point they close you out? Is it automated as soon as you go into negative equity or is there any leeway? Do they close you out on all of your positions or just one to bring you back into positive territory ? Sorry to be such a rookie still

Ticking up again now Taken form IC article 20th August 14 Dairy Crest's (DCG) recent partnership with Fonterra marks a first, historic foray into the global market. Since its foundation in 2001, New Zealand co-operative Fonterra has become the world’s biggest dairy exporter, accounting for over a fifth of the international trade. Under the partnership, Dairy Crest is investing £45m in the manufacture of de-mineralised whey powder, the base ingredient in infant formula, from its cheese factory at Davidstow in Cornwall. It is ploughing a further £20m into the production of galacto-oligosaccharide, a lactose-based prebiotic widely used in infant formula. Fonterra will offer technical support and market and sell both products.

Hot i got caught out on Gold the other day I had it running for about 24 hrs and got stopped out ( it would have come good though if i hadn't had stop on it. have you noticed when the FTSE is down gold goes, up and when the FTSE goes up gold goes down. .................... Also I have noticed that then these markets are both open Wall Street and FTSE they both move move in unison.

Good post hot. My view is to take some position s now whilst markets are in turmoil Put big stops on them and keep moving them up if going long and sp going up. Then all things being equal sell in December when sentiment is high. Dairy crest now done deal with fronteri to hit world markets with whey products  etc after deregulation should bode very well for 2015 and beyond (also cheap irish chese flood to uk was just a rumour!) Dcg a big player who are ruthlesly efficient. Only on mobile today with no indice positions open . I am earning some reall money today, baby sitting a colleagues shop whilst he is away. Sounds like you had a good day out. You haven't missed much the markets have been jumping about all over the place. Up and down like yo yo's, beach is the safest place to be honest. I am guessing that a lot of money has been lost trading on the indices today.

Put a post on here last night from my mobile but it looks like it didn't arrive. So irrelevant now but thanks for Friends Life tip and you are probably right. Been some carnage on the markets today. I made a small profit on RR in and out this morning but most of my stuff is down. Hot must be having days out. Happy days if you are Hot
