HI guys, Hot had a better day on the indices today, I picked up the first big downtrend on FTSE this morning and then had a long on Pound /US Dollar, after yesterdays sell off. I bought back into Brit earlier on a dip today. Also for long term income I bought into CSN who specialise in closed life insurance funds ( so not affected by annuities) and decent divi. Hot I am also watching RR. Good luck alll

A nice bit of clever trading, well done Gs getting Lloyd's at decent price, nice one, I opened up a spread on them at the same price as you at£6 a point Hot I also tried to buy some BRIT today but got locked out of my account, broker has upgraded the platform and it’s like Fort Knox now to get into…. Humbug/ I was trading Wall Street today and it turned on me in a flash. I had a large stop on it. I went to make a cup of tea (was away 3 minutes) when I came back it had gone. I couldn't believe the speed it changed. Spent the rest of the day (foolishly probably) trying to make it all up and just ended up with a whole body full of adrenalin! Booker has gone, got stopped out today. Tomorrow is another day

So dcg might drop further

Hi Gs check out NWF 5.1% yield they are still fairly cheap at 11 times forward earnings and the divi yield is welll covered. They might drop back to 144/145 price, will be a good price then. Long term hold though. Armani TW looks a bit over sold so should tick up again Ditto for BOK looking oversold

Hi Hot, yes very tense and tiring. I have been using RSI and MACD for technical’s but I am finding the candles tops and bottoms of 10 min, 5 min, 2 min, and 1 min very useful. Came back from town and got another tickle on Wall Street, long just before their close. Really pleased I stood aside on gold today, it was looking 50- 50 to me. If I had to put a bet on it, I would have gone short. And it went long so standing aside was the right for me. I will check the charts again on Monday. I tried to put a call and a put on Wall Street today but gave up in the frenzy. (Another day I think) Yes GS has thrown off his shackles and has gone on a buying frenzy. More BRIT and more TCG and you want to buy more shares GS. "The Golden Bull is out of the gate"!! God tips on AHT and WOS is it time to take some profits for your self on both GS I didnt get my buy on TCG but cant win them all. BRIT waiting for next drop to buy back in Hot gold i am waiting for the end of day prices if its below 1260 i know which way i will be going

Hot nicely done on the Dow and the Dax Yes jumped out of S&P short at 8pm ish our time at £39 profit after watching it £200 down earlier in the day. Happy with small profit though but I wished i had run a hedge and taken profits both ways. I guess you are talking about trading Gold, when you say the shiny stuff? I must take a look at the charts Let’s see what tomorrow brings when Non farm payrolls come out

Hi Hot Good call on your Dow and Dax Ftse gone mad US 500 short not going my way, yet. I really wasn’t expecting ECB to lower its benchmark interest rates to 0.05 and cutting its deposit facility to minus 0.2% I thought they would leave it alone but he ho. Also US500 chart has been showing a bearish doji candle for a few weeks now which often turns a bull session bearish. The ECB news interfered but the candles lurking in there!

Hi Hot a quick in and out with small profit on short FTSE100 this morning . GS I put a buy order in for TCG at 127.28 but didnt get it . He Ho Its looking good for you now at 130.51 you must be pleased, well done and good luck

Hot closed short on US 500 and averaged out of the hedge with a small profit. Gs been in and out of TCG more times than vie had hot dinners. It’s been good to me I remember telling Levis my first TCG gains enabled me to buy a new TV. Happy days 115 would have been an ideal buy in price but it does look like it could trend upwards. I will look into it further. good luck Ps I still in smiths

First day back for USA after labour day and the markets are bullish. So Ive closed the long at £70 up but overall still down, hoping for some profit taking later today on the S&P to help my short

Good morning Hot, yes the young uns, they don’t know what’s coming for them. Life is full of ironies. Not so long ago if you were going to go out and spend 6k it would be to upgrade your ca,r now it for new teeth!! Lol Your other half has the right idea, but let her keep hold of the gun and you keep hold of the bullets then you have a “hedge” set up. S&P 500 I took your advice this time and am running a December hedge long. Not quite sure which way to jump though. I was hoping they would just equal then I would jump out but slippage is moving them both as well.

I am having 8 new implants but 10 teeth points, molars and premolars and all associated work for £5.6k Flights and accommodation over two visits £200 All guaranteed for life, in top German materials It’s a completely different economy over there. I was quoted not far off £25k here with all associated work (who can really afford that?) ………………………………………….. Joints 3 herniated disk on my back with permanent sciatica down the left leg with damaged nerves, some other joint pain but nothing serious. Some planta fasciitis but seen a podiatrist and had special made to measure insoles which has more or less cured that I am still pretty fit, I can still walk and swim sometimes I do a bit of work. However am beginning to feel slightly bionic, and knackered Other stuff function fairy normally I think, but slow, Brain however, deteriorating can’t remember a dam thing!!! A friend of mine has just had lens replacements on his eyes!

I wont be drinking any beer while I am out there. I am going for dental treatment over 70% cheaper than in the UK even including the flights and accomodation.
