Aramni Hot GS Tom 22 Oct 2014 12:41
Hi ever body, Armani firstly thanks for your comments re trading with surgical dental pain in airports. The pain and trauma is bad enough but trying to trade spreads on a mobile phone is a real skill as I cant access charts and the tickets jump all over the place! I also traded a bit in Slovakia and again without charts. Thank you for saying I have a good spirit, as my other half calls it an addiction lol
Traders Hot and Tom
Monday in between taking antibiotics and mega doses of Ibruphen I traded the Dax and the ftse reasonable successfully and by 10.30am I was done .
Tuesday covering shorts like a madman but took some profit on a long on RDBS staying away from RR for now.
Got caught out by opening up a hedge on FTSE but did a stupid thing.!!
Note to self, must have a tattoo on my head that says when running a long and a short on the same instrument must remember to tick the force open box!!!!! ( anybody else fell into that trap in a moment of excitement?) ( panic is probably a better word)
Tuesday afternoon 2.30 Wall Street comes on line, took profits out of 3 Wall Street shares, waited for the USA dinner time rally which is between 5 and 6 ish our time then ran longs and shorts on big corporation shares using stops and limits.
These shares produce big enough Bollinger channels to trade both ways every half hour or hour or so. Also took a bite out of “Apple” on the up-trend
Today not been on markets yet other stuff to sort out.
GS, currently, I think funds are a good way to go. I am looking at threadneedle global equity income and Artimis Global income for my partners sipp.
Personally I am not holding many shares at all, mainly cash, its all become a bit too volatile. Wait and see what November brings.
Another trip to Slovakia in early December more pain but more gain . Then two glorious weeks in Gran Canaria in early January, bring it on guys.
