Cant believe it went to pick up car and my limit got triggered. I set it just two points below my short order but overall I am happy with about £50 up on the Dax . Yes i agree will probably drop like a stone now, my nerves also need a rest so its cup of tea time for me as well.

I had to take my car in for MOT today but managed to closed my 11416 short for a profit at 11403 but still running the 11370. its a bit better but not much better. i guess i am about 47pts down which is bearable. The good news, looking at how the daily candle is shaping up its looking like a hanging man, often a sign of reversal in a bull market, but needs further confirmation!!1 ive closed my long on HSBA at a profit and will go back in after ex divi. I am short on DOM and 888 a bit worried about DOM will wait and see. Off to collect car its passed but needs new disc and pads all round

Hi Hot great nights excitement for you and heads off shame for others I remember when I was a kid and made a homemade rocket firework, it got about 20 feet of the ground and landed on a neighbours shed and partly burnt it down. I legged it and never owned up! Dax that’s really interesting what you said about the US funds and others are buying it and keeping it propped up. You have three short positions open I have two. One at 11370 and another at 11416. I am hoping at least the latter one will tip me into the money I tried a long but the spread was too much so I dumped it. 79% of IG clients are short on the Dax. That won’t please IG if it drops significantly which we are all seriously hoping for. Ill take a look at your other short ideas, I am looking at shorting 888 as investor chronicle have it as a sell recommendation. Good Luck. Good news on funds GS iv got Woodfords and Artimas in my partners sipp. Hot possible exploding sheds and overkill always good for excitement!! Like an idiot i broke my own rule and decided to trade the Dax for the last hour or so on 10/5//1 min candles was doing ok when i got stuck in a short when the dax went ballisticly bullish just before close at 5pm . Hi Hot not been trading today but yes sitting it out until Fridays close before I reasess. No not in QPP now, mores the pity as I was in at the sub 20p but traded it a few times then lost track of the recent upward move. Actually i might take a look at it now what goes up comes down! Good luck with your CFD account it will be interesting to know if you make more profit with that than spreads. One thing you get with a cfd account as part of the charts is volume. They don’t give you volume on spread charts not on IG anyway. Volume is a useful indicator. I don’t think you can trade indices though its just for shares isn’t it? Hot i hope you are catching up on some sleep. Centica as i was out all day i set a limit sell at 255.85 and off it went always nice to get stopped out by a limit instead of stopped out by a stop so i am happy with that HSBA only a matter of time before it goes back up, somebody told me Hargreaves are bullish on it, (probably in there recommend funds no doubt) I took a few pounds on gold short earlier, then had a stab at shorting heating oil got out with a profit. I won’t go in there again it moves at £20 a second, need very deep pockets for that one I am going square on gold and oil and indices until Fridays close. Could see the dax and ftse coming down next week, everything is looking a little unpredictable. Greece still unnerving Europe markets. GS nice top up on HSBA good luck

Hi guys Brent Crude long closed in good profit. Bought long into Centrica today technically ready for a short term bounce after gaping Afren going up again. Pound /Dollar long closed in profit Silver short closed last night in profit . DFS will also look into that ( i wonder if you can buy the shares with 4 years interest free lol) Off board tomorrow

Hi guys, just popped back in the cave. I see there is still plenty of space in here. Still busy with relatives visiting us, interspersed with decorating and now I got a few days paid work. Hot onto my third long on Brent Crude and doing ok ( it’s a bit heart stopping but I believe the ultimate trend is up) I’ve also got a long on HSBC as of this morning . GS also got a long on Afren it’s a good gamble I believe, It should go up as oil rebounds. Good luck guys

I wouldn't worry too much about not getting poundland. In my view its a bit unpredictablea share for trading. Pleny more out there with solid trends. Number 3 daughter up with me for few days so off shares for a while and on father daughter catchup. Gl all

Poundland cant quite figure it!! . At the speed and the incline it went up, by all accounts it should have fallen over by now. ( well and truly over Fundamentally its over priced and technically its overbought but the candles currently are not showing a reversal as off yet!! The Icimoko chart is showing a reversal but not about another month. ( but part of Ichimoki works 26days hence) These shares must be very tightly held or somebody is buying a load of them to keep the price up. If it carries on like this tomorrow ill be stopped out . Currently i seem to be getting too many thing wrong humbug !!
