Hi guys, computer gave up the ghost today and laptop froze. I cant use my tablet as the prices jump all over the place. So doing this on my phone. I Picked up a few points long on the FTSE first thing. Hot I see you closed out your short on RR . Funnily enough I opened a long on it today, also long on British Land and just gone long on National Grid still long on HSBA I have two big shorts on silver that are currently in the red but silver showing a decent down trend. Hot your SL short I think goes ex divi tomorrow from memory. Good luck all

Hot /Gs been out all day so not been in the market but put a short on Barclay this morning and its in profit. Not had chance to look at your longs yet Hot and out aging all day tomorrow. HSBA GS i hope it doesn't get that low i am in long at 574.9 in whats known as a June 2015 bet If it drops for the next two days i will close it out

Hot only working from technical’s on all of these :::: Standard life definitely overbought But MACD still very strong and MA and EMA all strong Also SAR still in green plus daily candle not yet posting a reversal although price movement slowing down. I would like to see one day of red before I would short it, personally. Barclays showing more promise of a short, daily candle showing a rising star a classic reversal pattern MACD just gone red RSI 60 ish in overbought territory EMA and MA still in positive though Ichimoko cloud 26 day future prediction positive. If it follows its usually pattern it will drop for 5 to 6 days then onward and upwards again. ITV looks like its on a break out the daily candle is an engulfing candle of the previous day. ( a strong current uptrend) MACD just going green…… I note it gapped but it’s so strong only tech in favour of Short is RSI not enough for me yet. Plus strong upwards trend. Morrison’s looks like it’s beginning to hammer out a top ( candle showing that any way ) probably ready to reverse, Also tomorrow it hits the rule of 8 eg 8 days of one direction often means reversal on the ninth ( but can also be applied to 8 weeks and even 8 months so I never hold my breath lol Out of those four, tomorrow I would go for Barclays as a short and watch the rest with morrisons as a close contender. Hi guys Unlucky for me on last Thursday got stopped out of DOM ( and ex divi share that goes up!! Stopped out of Pace!! Investor chronicle tip of the year 2015 issued on that same day!! ( unlucky) A great weekend though with my son. Thursday night, eating at an all you can at Chinese buffet with teriyaki Friday morning, went swimming, followed by a Tai lunch, then two games of tenpin bowling, then cinema to see Jupiter Ascending. After went home, my son cooked a Tai green curry in the evening. Saturday morning, off to see my daughter and grandson in Yorkshire a great day out and some draught cider, drive back to have a shanhi bhuna curry with a glass of beer. Sunday strolling around local shops and cafes, then home cooked sirloin steak with roast potatoes and veg , followed by chill out in front of TV for rest of day

Just logged on and IG have stopped me out of DOM at 761.9 how on earth did it hit that price??? ( and ive had to pay the divi) i bet IG or MM's flashed it up first thing to get us shorters. Humbug . Also thanks for your views on the Dax Teeth my dentist in England told me i would have to go to hospital to have my wisdom teeth taken out as they were impacted into the bone and it was an operation etc etc. . When i went to Slovakia my implant surgeon took them all out whilst i was still wide awake. He had to chisel them out a millimeter at a time. It was delicate work due to being near the nerves. Yes DOM went ballistic this afternoon. The high price paid for those shares by pizza eating junkies won’t even cover the divi!. Ditto re bigger drop tomorrow and divi. Yes DAX unpredictable FTSE unpredictable DOW unpredictable, waiting for some solid trends. Good luck trading the DOW in my limited experience it does sometimes suffer from whipsaw micro second movements ( need big stops) usually when something like the Non farm pay rolls come out or Oil barrel reserves are counted. Probably computers reacting to these types of news events or dare I say it market manipulation. Obviously a bank would never buy several billion pounds of gold to win a bet would it? Well Barxlays might . I ended the day more or less where I started again. A bit of a “busy fool syndrome” I got stopped out of Afren at 6p when they defaulted on their loan payments. I was in front of the screen didn't even see it go it went that fast. I’ve closed all my stressful positions eg indices and euro- dollar pound- dollar dollar –Japan.. I am just running a few shares. I have my son coming to stay for a while so will be off the board for a while now. . Armani has retired from BB’s he may be back as a born again new name, who knows?

Hi tom the monthly chart still looks ok, see how it is at the end of March. it does appear that the energy sector is apolitical hot potato, what with green subsidy etc. it could pick up after the election if it goes below 800 i will rethink it Taken form Investors Chronicle 29th January 15 National Grid (NG) had a good year. It pushed on with its agreement with Norwegian grid operator Statnett to build a subsea power line, which would allow the UK to import hydroelectric power. The project could also be used to send excess wind power produced by UK turbines to Norway, which Statnett would sell on to other European countries. The grid operator rounded off the year by hosting the first capacity market auction. Companies running the existing capacity of nuclear, gas and coal-fired power stations bid for annual subsidies in return for guarantees that they will make their stations available during peak periods of demand. The market will be operational for the first time during 2018-19. However, analysts predicted that the lower-than-expected clearing price of £19.40 per kW would end up having a negative impact on some providers' earnings. Prospects for dividends depend partly on the outcome of the Competition and Markets Authority's (CMA) investigation into the supply sector. The CMA is expected to deliver its initial findings at the end of January or beginning of February, with its final report to be published at the close of the year. That should bring investors some clarity on the future path of a sector that has long been more popular with investors than consumers. But it's hard to envisage the companies making any real strategic progress until the general election is out of the way.

Hi guys a day and half short and long on the Dax got out with by the skin of my teeth. Currently two shorts on the FTSE, currently 46 pts down with a massive stop at 6990. hoping for carnage tomorrow then out Gs you will be pleased to know i closed my short on EMG today. Hot its ex divi day for DOM on Thursday so hoping to get out tomorrow so not as to pay the divi but i wont be much i guess. Currently short on PIC after massive rise today . Hot during my Slovakia trip i had all my wisdom teeth out and replaced with new bone. It sounds like when your wife had hers done they damaged the nerve.
