Agreed re QP:::: VOD yes I bit unlucky as I got stopped out as it went south on me . I am running very tight stops due to small bank on IG. I refuse to put any more cash in!! I either get it right very quickly or get stopped out very quickly!! It looks like your IMG short is paying off well done . Your long on gold appears to be holding but it jumps about a bit of late. Hi guys back from Slovakia and I’ve been eating everything in sight!! After 4 visits to foreign lands overseas , eight plane journeys, staying n various apartments, a little pain and discomfort and I am really pleased with the results. Yippee!! It’s done!!!! Managed to close a couple of shorts for a few pounds on AV whilst I was away and BBY today, plus opened and closed another short on RSA. I’ve also got a short on Elland oil and gas but currently going the wrong way A bit of a weird day sectors turning without any signals?

One minute graph on RSI on heavy volume instruments is in my view an art form. I would say you are the Guru of S, betting. I know its extremely stressful I've tried myself a few times. I am completely exhausted after a few hours. Do what you do best and to hell with anybody else with their puritanical views. Probably jealous any way

Thanks Hot, as always for your swift and detailed response. When you say "wiped out " i hope you mean just your posns. and not all your "hard earned " ?? ---- Most of it yes! I was on IG account ,not that there was much cash in there to be honest but I was buying and selling gold most of the morning on candle signals, shooting stars and hammer reversals etc doing ok too. Also bought and sold crude successfully . I had made about £100 in total Earlier I opened a long on Ryanair and a long on RBS which I thought were ok .I put a short on the Dax and Wall street, again using candles and RSI Macd but mainly candles. I was buying and selling small positions successfully. All of a sudden there was a massive inverted hammer type of candle and the Dax just went bersek upwards in a micro second. Also Wall street too. I was also running a fair size position on ABBV which had dropped quite a bit earlier. Unknowingly I went over my fund limit and IG closed all my positions except RBS. I couldn't believe it I am well pxssed off !!! Yes back from hols but off to Slovakia again next week so I am trying to sort that out now. Armani is off of the board for awhile he says he is busy doing stuff . Re your QE in my view yes good for equities but also shows how weak everything is, particularly Europe Will stay away from indices for quite a while now I think got no funds any way so no choice

65 p wouldn't surprise me.... 43 stores to close this yesr. 1 billion pound less expenditure.the last 19 week on week drop in sales excluding Christmas week, this years final dividend now scraped. It will be years before it turns around. Its only sentiment thats keeping where it is. Now the divi has gone, funds will dump it wholesale in my view. I can't look at any charts on my phone so its just an opinion but sub a £1 would not surprise me if ftse heads south long term this year

Hi all enjoying a balmy 23° sipping soda water and lemon looking out at the ocean contemplating life. Some great posts on here (whats this about Santander?) I picked up some more sbry on a limit at 229 ( which i had forgot about ) the other day now sat at 2.50 . Happy with that also my abbv are racing ahead on good news. Hi Gs, yes Yorkshire folk are friendly. We have been staying up in Holmfirth. its where the " Last of the Summer Wine" was made . So its Nora Batty and Cleggy country. Its a lovely little place. Hot i've closed all positions except ABBVIE ( A mega USA drug company) Guys most other stuff in cash and a few old and tested dividend shares and a couple of funds. Hot, yes, Levis came back as a born again Armani. Ive always been Optimus and i think that Golden shares as always been Golden shares. And no need to apologise at all!! The other thing i wanted to say about Levis is ( and totally irrelevant), is i couldn't believe how much they cost, You can pay £150 for pair that why it was a particularly good birthday present for my self .
