Mcro very frustrating. So nearly sold half at £5.30, but kept thinking of the income. Been watching N4P for months now. Usually a bit wary of these stocks but having watched a couple of interviews with the ceo and tried to understand what exactly it is they have a patent for. Very fortunately took the plunge this morning rather than buy more MCRo (which I intend to at some point). N4P announced they have a patent being granted for world wide rights to Nuvec a novel delivery system for cancer treatment and vaccines. The vaccines has a particular benefit to get over the storage of the required temperatures for the Covid vaccines. Already working with two of the giant pharmas. Gone up over 50 % today, but hopefully just the beginning. How many times have I heard that!

Morning all. C been a bit of downward pressure on gold recently. Strengthening dollar, pound and oil. typical short term knee jerk volatility imv. Schapps has now said he doesn't know why people are booking holidays throwing further confusion what with the EU,s bureaucratically inept vaccine planning, into opening up this summer. I can see gold going back up again in the not very distant future. Standard Life bought into CEY yesterday.

T. I think its opened the championship up nicely. Moth England and Ireland were expected to win so England will be thanking Ireland again! I can't believe Sexton is 36 already. Trouble is there is nobody yet to replace him with Burns missed penalty in overtime after a magnificent team effort to get themselves within a whisker of sneaking victory rubbing the salt further in. I really feel Scotland have their best chance in years of taking the championship. Frances game didn't give any further clues and were made to look awsome against probably the weakest Italian side to play the 6 nations so far. However France will not doubt step up their game substantially when they take on the rest of their fixtures. Expect England and Ireland to bounce back strongly too. Enjoying the cricket. Market very due this morning. Quite a bit of profit taking I expect after a buoyant last week session. Plenty more M&A to come I suspect. I often seem to find my portfolio goes slightly down when the ftse is up, and does ok when the ftse falls.

Thats what we are all hoping, but unless anyone has seen the results we can't possibly know for sure. Totally agree C. England were shell shocked. Hogg was brilliant as usual. Has always shone when Scotland were below par, now he has a solid team to play with I think he will be seen as one of the best full backs of all time. Going to be a very open season again. I wouldn't rule England out If they can play so disorganised like that and only loose by 5 maybe it was just a bad day at the office

I know what you mean. They are always up for new record. I think India bowled brilliantly to contain England without much luck, absolutely dead pitch. The collapse of England shows how well Root, Sibley and Stokes batted. If Stokes had been dropped after a brilliant juggling act we would be way passed 600 by now. Now we're under the cosh in rugby against Scotland, Very cynical trip by Russel preventing Young scoring. Sent off for ten minutes with a huge grin, knowing he got away with a professional foul. Scotland have been impressive, no need to resort to that. I get the feeling Russel will be more trouble than he's worth if they can't manage him as before.

In my youth I worked for BAC Weybridge where the wiring for Concord was made. I think they reckoned there was 7 miles of wiring. Never flew on it unfortunately. The rest of the country was on a 3 day week and we had to work full time flat out! Ironically it is now a Mercedes museum. Even more bizarre I attended a concert there with Leonard Cohen and Susan Vega. Rained the entire time not that anyone noticed. One of the most beautiful concerts I ever went to. The keyboard player held a tarpaulin over the piano with one hand and played wit the other. There was a sublime Spanish guitarist and twin blond girls backing the singing who Leonard described as his angels. Anyway MICRO. What can you say. The most played stock of all time. The trouble is if the recovery is as good as the market seems to think it could be, we're not even half way there yet, he said authoritatively like I know what I'm talking about! Up with the Lark watching live cricket v India on the telly as it should be. Well should be on the BBC really. All the hallmarks of a classic test. England start well and then loose two quick wickets before Root66 steadies the ship. Also great opportunity for a bit of homework. M. I quite like the look of CEY. Obviously the price of gold has been dropping. I think that creates an opportunity here. I am currently heavily in CAPD doing the donkey work for them. Turned down an offer recently which suggests also there is good value here. Also in the frame for me are SPT (5g potential) having a bit of a rough ride through cover, but fortunes should return. VTU, CTG and ALU getting favourable reports and already recovering well. QQ. interesting defence engineering stock of quality. SO much to choose from!

V. I started doing my loss and profit accounts for this year today. My record low profit was £5.31, when I was mucking about day trading with BT and Vod in the summer. only about 8 weeks to end of tax year and have lost track a of frantic trading at the start of the year when profits were bigger and strangely the last couple of months have been good. Cant have been concentrating during the summer.

S. Monster deals coming in on TTG without moving the sp? 1 for 1 million and 2 for 600,000 plus. Have substantial increased my holding from Monday. Had a dig into the figures again which don't look bad. Results early march, possible reinstatement of dividend. Must be in a better place now than 4 years ago when the sp was £2.50. Virolens still undergoing trials and significant interest

There are relatively few shares in circulation. The idea of the consolidation was to reduce volatility and has done the complete opposite. Credit Suisse put an overweight target @3.24. Very precise. In contrast MorningStar say they are well ahead of themselves and to be avoided to there is a clearer picture. Its certainly still a very risky punt, even with a profitable insurance. Paul discards the huge Boat debt as asset purchase which is true to a degree but I am wandering why negotiations for Covenant extensions are taking so long. Plenty more fish in the sea!

Firstly Paul on Stockopedia was ramping them up twice this week which always tends to spike stock and may actually have played a big part of the rise. He has thousands of followers. Morning Star on the other hand said the results weren't good, too much debt and should be avoided. Also absolutely no institutional buying. Credit Suisse have a positive note this morning. Thing is there are relatively few shares available. The idea of the consolidation was to take the volatility out of them, and its done the complete opposite! Definitely not going chase them now. Its still a risky punt whatever the sp does, a lot rides on ifs and buts. I'd want to know how covenant negotiations are going for starters. Cant see why that would take so long.

thanks S. To be fair I thought I'd taken a leaf out of your book. I sold the day before update jan 19, and got an extra 400 shares this morning for the same money and up 2% now. Has been a slow one I admit but should go boom if trials go well. They had a placing at @£2 to fund American acquisition, should provide bit of a safety net, although bound to be sellers if the trials don't work out.

Back in TTG. Update not bad last week. Dividend reinstated for August. Disappointed the Virolens has taken so longboat feel that is possibly a positive sign. Blackrock keep adding and now hold just over 10%

Interesting comments from a company paying 1 billion to buy a small broking company in America with primary purpose to promote their highly risky derivatives casino, by their own admission loosing 75% of their customers money.
