Arsenal. I have been looking in to Miton holdings. Its quite hard to understand their strategy. They took nearly 20% in Feb 2019 placing, and then immediately seem to have disposed of them. Then later that year in December they bought nearly 19% and within 3 weeks started selling out again till their holding is now down to under 5%. There is one private individual investor Speirs who has a holding of 22.2 million shares (6.45%). I think the whole Miton thing is a bit of a red herring to be honest. One commentator seems to have read into Miton as being the cause of the fall. I think they have been supplying other investors which is why it is so hard to make sense of substantial share holding listings. As Giancontti says they have an excellent future with global credentials. Think I will be joining in if we get a sniff of sub 11p but equally and possibly more importantly look forward to averaging up next year.

Hard to say arsenal. 14 months ago they came in for just over 18%. I don't know if that was just after the placing but looks like they were buying around 22-25p. They have been reducing over the last year and last RNS they held just under 5%. It looks like they found other investment companies to offload on, otherwise the sp would have been even more decimated. I think its difficult for investment companies to buy in to such small companies as this. Might have been rather a rash move, but clearly Gervais recognises the potential of this company. Just maybe not performing within his timeframe. Certainly has the possibility to double our money here and still be under Miton purchase price. Just hope COVID doesn't derail their excellent recovery and 'robust trading' Dr Arnab referred to earlier this month. The news flow has been superb, so hope their balance sheet reflects this.

persistance prevails! Managed to squeeze a couple of reasonable buys out of them. Often the case with these stocks just keep trying. I don't trust their negotiated trades or stop orders. Rather know what I'me getting. Great raft of news, already two trials booked early next year with S.Korea in attendance obviously pretty keen on nuclear detection what with their mad fat neighbour. I don't know what the results will bring , but suspect not as bad as sp suggests. Mainly moving on very low volumes and very low value trades which is absurd Imo.. I see Miton sold down on CRU the other day. The sp responded by doubling the very next day! Gotta larf.

So they won't sell me 500 shares but they will take my entire 70000 in one go! No deal!

Apologies. Of course companies still reporting on placings. I thought it was all done and dusted weeks ago. Good interview with Jamie Boyton. When asked specifically about the weakness in current sp her brushed Toit off by saying the placing had sucked in a huge amount of investors money so there would understandably be a period of adjustment. So I have been very happy to be able to take the opportunity to get the major portion of my holding below 60 p in the last week

They'll be flying all the brokers off to the empty ski slopes of Europe and a few politicians no doubt. Hope they're all masked up

Yes looks like they missed the placing as the transaction is dated 22/12/20. How is it that they buy 10 million shares and it doesn't effect the sp? Just an under the counter job from someone who didn't miss the placing for a quick profit of 10 million x 1.5p. = £150,000. possible I suppose. So where's there RNS I wonder. Its a murky old world out there under the counter.

I think this first real test for Brexit amply demonstrates the inadequacy and completely underprepared response by police, customs, and government. The old bill are no help wandering about issuing parking tickets to lorries with no where to go like beached whales on roundabouts, country lanes, supermarket car parks and crumbling lay-bys. A total shambles. Manston airport is being completely misused as a lorry park. Its about a 50 minute drive on a clear day from Dover. The M2 from London to trendy Whitstable and Margate can't handle the holiday traffic never mind extra haulage being taken in completely the wrong direction off the M20. I've got a novel idea why not use Manston as an airport. It has the longest runway in the uk because thats what it is, an airport not a lorry park for thousands of lorries with no facilities. Its got to be a lot quicker, more reliable and I doubt more expensive when you add in time saved and product saved .

I made a couple more purchases this morning at 59.4. The enterprise value is now 20 million less than its market cap and on Stokopedia it finds itself in the neglected stock category. I think the other thing that confuses some people is that although the directors made some big purchases in the placing as a result of the enlargement of the group this has resulted in directors having a smaller percentage of the group individually.

Yes it is good. Imagine the reaction to share price if they land another $2 million contract.

Easy mistake to make Cuzco. Have been caught out myself like that. Often internet articles come out with todays date at the top, and then further down you discover its from 6 months ago. I think the fall is more down to continuing Covid jitters and Brexit worries, Also the appointment of a joint broker which as Stockopedia point out can be for myriad reasons. Could be a concern that cruises might be put back a little further. Shouldn't really effect Sagas long term plan because as mentioned several times they have that corner covered far better than others in this line of business. Just shy of 16p, an absolute steal at twice the price compared to other cruise line valuations or not IMO, DYOR etc. Difficult couple of months, but you have to see past the immediate news. It will get better and probably quite dramatically as it came

Has the sp actually moved in the last 10 years. I think I sold out at 3p. No doubt its been rinsed several times since. Made a packet and then it disappeared. Glad to read they are diversifying into haymaking. Cant think why Swiss Tony didn't think of that. Is Delt still around too?

Not especially but they are in the Ai market, which is apparently bigger than the discovery of fire. They go at their own pace and pay a decent divi, occasionally they have a blow out. This is old Aim
