400k on the sell side at 90p wouldn't last long if there is a leak between now and Monday. Same with the 100p one. They will normally get withdrawn in any case as things get close.

I suspect it might jump before then if details of the proposal get leaked.

Was invested at NETW and saw the approach come out over there and without any mention of a price. Loaded up further at 303p for a) I thought the share price was still tracking way below where it should be for a bid scenario and that b) thought it inevitable that somebody would leak details of the bid. Kept ferreting on the evenings and found a Bloomberg article at the weekend detailing 380 to 400p offer price. Monday morning 387p formal takeover RNS'd and very happy.

Plenty journalists out there delving and eager for the scoop and some good researchers on here also and to be fair any slight leak of details can be share price enhancing and can help defensively.

Love him or hate him matt Moulding makes a perfectly valid point in his Instagram post in that "overfishing" or shorting and those that feed off it are ultimately destroying the appetite to list in the UK, or for pension funds to do the same.
Yesterdays share price reaction was another "overfishing" exercise that all but conformed for me THG is going private.

It's in the middle of a bid proposal as we speak and if Apollo dangle the right carrots for MM and Co then it is going private.

Whilst PI's were selling the likes of Vanguard were back onboard and short positions were reducing and closing. Should hopefully see more of this today given yesterdays opportunity.

Certainly won't be letting any shares go and holding for that capital event.
