More to the point, in one announcement BGK has acquired a very sizeable holding and taken another 2.86% out of the free float. That equates to nearly the same as the total of shorts over 0.5%.

Its getting even more perfectly poised.

Certainly somebody picking up shares in bulk in the latter part of today. Maybe a bit of accomodating going on as you wouldn't have got that in 1 chunk in market hours without starting to move the price.

Hopefully people will start to number crunch what Kelso, the FT and others have posted and start to come up with proper valuations for all of the businesses.

Both Sparta and moreso Kelso are telling Apollo that any reasonable proposal has to include truer worth for all 3 and they both know Nutrition has massive further expansion potential and could be spun off indepemdently.

I think you will probably be disappointed fk.

Volume is slowing and there is only so much blood you can get out the RI stone.

Easyjet and Jet2 further improving guidance in recent days makes me think this should not be sat at just over 51p in old money.

I'm sure this was one of the companies to which Matt Moulding referred in that Conference call and there was also a German company (if someone has the name)

On the same Conference call incidentally Matt Moulding fielded a question on the previous round of bidders at 170p and I have it in my notes that he said there were plenty of suitors at the table and many more than the ones that got reported.

Not many would argue with those valuations today given the Kelso RNS this morning.

Shame he got targeted by the boiler room posters on here and in consequence posts less.

Hopefully still holding all he had and you would think shortly to reap the benefits of what he continually said on here.

Given Kelso's highly factual RNS this morning I have been delving for that time in the not too distant past that Matt Moulding during a results Conference Call highlighted most of the recent takeovers In Nutrition and what there respective revenue multiples were and showing how undervalued Nutriition was. In fact it was one of the primary reasons I have continued to buy monthly and top up on weakness.

I even found the Conference call link that I had copied into a post on another thread but its no longer live and the webcast isn't there now as a link on the THG Investors website. Shame that!! Maybe something that Investor Relations can fix by contacting BRR Media and resurrect it / or perhaps Matt Moulding might republicise the details he imparted during that conference call on Linkedin.

Incidentally that 2nd Bid was highlighted by Bloomberg prior to Betaville publishing it also last night and prior to the RNS conformation that popped up this morning.

There'll be a leak of details of the Apollo proposal at some point first I suspect. Too many involved and journos digging and delving with their sources.

First number has to be well north of here if Apollo want "to acquire the entire issued and to be issued share capital of THG (the "Proposal")"

Investing 101 the 2 Active Investors are using there muscle to tease out either a) the highest bid possible or b) a 2nd Bidder to enter the arena.

I have no problem with either as it is still deeply undervalued at this level.

All counting down against the Golden Share running out.

2nd Bid has just popped up over there for Network International. This time you might recognise the terminology, but accompanied there with an indicative price of 400p. Share price opened straight to 400p.

Matt must have been given a higher number. Just hasn't shared it yet or knows it can be improved upon.

How long before the first leak of details? and if ever there was a prompt for a Matt Moulding Linkedin post over the weekend on the value of previous deals in the nutrition industry then its been provided.

Great RNS off kelso this morning and those that were privy to a results conference call once or twice removed from the latest know exactly the Enterprise value multiples recent deals have been done, including the Pepsi deal with Celcius in the US.

Nice to see Kelso again backing their words, this time with a leveraged CFD. Should provide higher rewards.

Forgot to add Kelso itself incidentally looks extremely cheap imvho.

I have been ever since the first Active Investor became involved for they are fighting shareholders corner for them in a highly professional way.

They spy bigger gains than this and it aligns with the aims of those invested and predominantly retail PI's.

Nice to see them upping their stake again and this time with a leveraged CFD.

If memory serves me right they are principally referring to a results conference call 2 or 3 sets of results back where Matt Moulding detailed other recent sale and partnerships of lesser companies to the likes of Pepsi and the enterprise value concerned and MyProtein for being the Worlds No1 was so obviously undervalued.

That is both Sparta and Kelso now that have come out and pointed out true value and that any such bid will have to reflect that.

Kelso share price btw is also looking very cheap
