Super dooper effect on the sp and glad I topped up in the last few days.

The highs seem to be trending higher.

Just a comment that there don't seem to be many shares available over there. Just tried a dummy trade and couldn't even get a quote on only £1k without a Negotiated trade or having to put in a limit order. It now seems to be being held tighter than a ducks ar $e in water.

I hold some in addition to @THG and as a longer term investment into an Active Investor for my portfolio and how these can compound and multiply their own share price with each success and further success. Their efforts in summarising and reminding everyone on the undervalue of @THG very much appreciated.

They double on their 5 Million share purchase at 109p (Bought at 54.5p)

They also hold 2 leveraged Contracts for Difference covering 3 Million further shares.

Circa £3 Million in cash for their next investment.

No premium or credit being given for 1st success thus far and the calibre of the individuals involved.

Great news this morning that inflation numbers are down more than expected. Should ultimately be good for all retail and property shares. Government leaning on supermarkets (plus their suppliers) presently on food and fuel prices should lead to a further drop next month.

Much larger reduction than expected.

7.9% against 8.2% which was expected and the 8.7% last time around.

Hence markets are blue as are all my shares, except 1 and REVB trailing the market. FTSE is up over 100 points and FTSE 250 is up over 500 points at time of writing. Distinct feeling here that the Market makers are trying to fill a Buy order here. 1 point spreads and very little shares traded in todays market sentiment? People sitting on their hands and you reap what you sow as they say.

Ubik, shares don't always move the way you think. All down to how the market participants play their hands. You invariably find though that they do move when you least expect it.

Today's compromise news was worth far more than going into an acrimonious GM with both sides having all guns blazing. In perspective the REVB share price was higher knowing that Bob Holt was likely to bite the bullet in any compromise just a couple of days back. (32.5p Bid and 33p Offer)

It's a sitting duck for ELF atm (or another) and on a plate with virtually all the hard work done or in action.

Scrum down for the board positions doesn't affect what is going through the tills daily.

Route 1 with interest rates hasn't been working and thats because many are not affected by them: council tenants, shared ownership, fixed rate deals, own their homes outright... The Government have had to go for route 2 which is to haul in the Supermarket bosses to put pressure in the producers and suppliers. Only yesterday (or the day before) they had them in to talk about petrol prices being 6p too high due to lack of competition and a desire to publish who is charging what, and the cheapest. The irony is that about 70% of the price of a gallon / litre of petrol or diesel is made up of Government tax. Cut that and you would instantly start reducing CPI.

Don't forget also gsol that the Energy price cap has also fallen at the start of July. That also feeds in to so much in terms of costs of production. The proof will be in the pudding. I think reduction, maybe not as fast as some would like but a reduction.

Horsefield has previous connections to THG, the good side is that it is on the Beauty side so we bolster the skillset for running a Beauty business. Independent company with BOO holding 26.6% (minus a little dilution) but as you say with only 2 BOO directors of 9 - and it is a compromise win for us that they will be searching for an Independent CEO - again of the Beauty skill set and calibre.
