Here's a Linkedin post off the CEO of THG yesterday and its about the setting up of an HQ shop to enable THG staff to buy Returns off its THG Ingenuity websites and large scale Fulfilment and Distribution Centres (of which they have many and globally). Not only do they sell the likes of their own Myprotein products but also many of their own Beauty products through the likes of Lookfantastic (Where RevB products are), Cult Beauty, Espa, Illamasqua etc and also for many other customers such as Maximo with its Fragrance Direct and All Beauty websites but also for the likes of Matalan, Homebase and others.

If you note what is the return rate for these type of products compared to the return rates for fast fashion website like Boohoo and Asos it in all probability speaks volumes for why BOO wanted onboard at Revolution Beauty as a strategic investment. It also helps understand the resilience of the Beauty business and why so many are succeeding.

Not half on the trade side

Looks like a buy order has been getting filled on the quiet in the background.

The permutations and synergies for both Ashley and THG would be immense. That's from a full scale offer by Ashey through to buying any one of the divisions or a stratgic investment in them. Ashley's Frasers Group just bought ProBikeKit off THG recently so they have been talking. MP Protein apparel and MP Protein powders, shakes and snack bars would slot in nicely to his bricks and mortar aisles. He already sells Lonsdale protein powders and gymwear. Furthermore from a competition advantage perspective Ashley might have spied JDSports expansion plans for the Middle East with THG have a Fulfilment Facility in Dubai.

Not as daft as it sounds to be fair but whats also nice is that its Bloomberg with the story and its actually positive narrative from the media.

I'm off to unpack about about 50 quids worth of a Iceland Myprotein delivery including 6 tubs of ice-cream.

Seriously you cannot beat £2.50 a tub for all the healthy comparatives these have.

Said enough for today - and Kelso are bang on the money with everything that they say.

Can we just have all those that wish to go short and can they be joined by anyone that wishes to spin or adopt a negative narrative here - and can they all put every bit of their money into a short position and leverage it up to the hilt prior to the September update - and we can all wish them every bit of success with their overleveraged bets.

Lots of good stuff in this mornings RNS that invites further delving, in particular the highlighting of the values of the Sum of Parts and within that the value of THG Nutrition and the comparative with the price paid just last week by Mars for Kevins Natural Health Foods. That deal was completed on effectively a 5.5 X Revenue model and Mars paying $800Million for a business that generated roughly $140M per year in the preceding year.

Happy to step back for a bit off the bulletin if that is what the consensus is. I'm invested in many and varied shares and can easily spend time elsewhere.

Given they have a positive relationship with Matt Moulding this is the paragraph on "the splits" is the intriguing bit particularly with MyProtein in mind.

"The one-year anniversary of the announcement of the THG 'Separation' is later this month. The Separation occurred almost two years after the IPO and importantly allows each business division to be independently managed and reported on. It also facilitates possible third-party investment into any of the divisions and potentially for any of the divisions to be sold partially or in full. Importantly, Separation therefore gives THG significant strategic optionality, and we welcome management's openness and desire to explore these opportunities."

Much quieter press wise yesterday and so far today so lets hope they are all sat round the table sorting out a compromise and one that leaves us with the re-established Integrity and Corporate Governance as well as the skill sets to run and expand a Beauty business.

Kelso are in this for the long game and will do very well out of this investment. All the working out they are giving you.

Don't let go of any of your shares @THG or @KLSO would be my opinion.

Its quite clear that one source of the Kelso research is this bulletin board.

I popped up Kevin's Natural Foods sale to Mars last week just after it happened and others popped up their revenues prior and 5.5X Revenue multiple they paid for the company. Just based on that one metric alone THG Nutrition with a Revenue of £675Million last year would be worth £2 Billion. Then I could list you over 2 near full textual posts on here with further expansion progress that has been made since and with expansion in the UK, Europe, America and Japan (and that's only what we know)

The Kelso RNS subtly is also a reminder to stick to factual posting rather than the over 250 posts of price commentary,

ramps and reference to short positions. Don't get me wrong these all have their place but the "Loudness" of the number of posts is what attracts in the bad element of the "fast cash" to gunk the PI out of letting go of their shares. Nearly 10 million volume yesterday says so. Further don't believe me - First big swing backwards in a while yesterday with 250 - 300 posts compared to constancy upward when much quieter, say 50 posts). Noisy bulletin boards get targeted by the bad element of the "fast cash"

Just think before you post on whether its needed and it might concentrate the minds on factual content (like whats in Kelso's post) and what they are saying rather than price swings based on the next news piece. In that way you would expect the price to continue upwards constantly to Sum of Parts.
