Today coincides with the IG increase in margin from 10% to 25% so some of those spread betting and short are going to get automatically closed out if they haven't upped their margin. Bob was a troubleshooter and he did wat he was brought in to do. Lets be honest about it. He didn't have the credentials to run a Beauty business and to make it grow and the swift reversal of the THG commercial relationship to back ON showed that. Rachel Horsefield being an ex CEO of THG Beauty is a good acquisition onto the Board.

She might be one of the candidates for CEO but they are running a process for said REVB CEO so she either has to compete or be happy in her new role. Best person for the job ultimately is what we want to carry REVB forward.

Rachel Horsefield (Ex CEO of THG Beauty) onto the REVB Board is good news for both them and us. It's a good compromise deal all round.

Definitely knocking at the £1.00 door and just needs that little push.

Bob also stopping on should a) ensure an orderly transition but b) should hopefully ensure he has a decent input in the selection process for any new CEO. Best person for the job is what we want. We gain an appointment process to ensure that.

The board is now equipped for being relisted and will have the skill set to succeed once new CEO is recruited. Already part way there with Rachel Horsefield on the Board.

Next target has to be towards 50p.

The market likes the compromise.

Redhammy he supplemented those shares with 1.5 Million shares that he bought with his own money. Some at just under 31p. He of all people knows the present numbers, and would not have been topping up if he didn't expect a much higher return. Simples.

It's a good compromise and imo in the best thing in the interests of the company, shareholders and the share price with all the last few weeks uncertainty at an end. That's hopefully how I see it.

Extremely happy that Elizabeth Lake has stayed in post has she has done a sterling job in righting the previous Minto chaos. Her presence should ensure continuity from the lake era and with proper financial controls in place. The right choice by all.

But also that we gain the likes of Elizabeth Horsefield onto the Board with her previous experience at THG. It doesn't say if she will be a candidate for the new CEO's role being recruited for when Bob Holt goes. If not we actually gain two strong Beauty side inputs onto the Board. Thats acknowledging Bob's skill set wasn't beauty.

Reference options, Holt and lake still get these and if they were conditional on suspension being lifted, and that having happened then I haven't got a problem with those being honoured.

Opens the door for the next Chapter with a compromised Board with a Beauty focus but also with integrity and strong governance. Both affordability and quality of product in the same breath should ensure the products sell and grow.

But 8 days of strikes out of 365 days in a year and at only 1 airport of the many that TUI flies to and from - won't equate to a 5% fall in revenue and thats even if you were fully refunding.

Lots of in between scenarios for the likes of TUI to consider for instance for those on package holidays you might reschedule the flights. Fortunately as it's London then Gatwick, Heathrow and Stanstead provide none too distant alternatives. I take it you still provide and make profit on the accomodation, transfers, excursions or, if it's only both Gatwick and baggage handler specific why not logistically just shift the full flight to one of those other 3 airports. When they closed Doncaster Airport last year flights were switched to Leeds Bradford and East Midlands as the two nearest.

The point I'm getting at is that when the customer service teams get onto it there will be many half way houses and resceduling that takes place - and it wouldn't have equated to a 5% reduction in revenue for the year in any case even with all fully refunded.

Least of all when it was already discounted by 200p from an 808p TERP in any case.
