If MM wants to get back to his Billionaire status then imvho he'll either need to do a Stelios and step aside and let someone better run the show, MBO it (Hasn't got sufficient funds) or THG follows in Darktrace's footsteps and accepts a takeover offer. Can't see it happening under Mouldings tenure as he has rubbed the City up the wrong way and you won't remedy things sitting in "silo" Manchester and with an unpreparedness to do business travel.

Crafty I still hold THG shares just nowhere near as a many. That's a core holding but also just like your good self on top of that core holding I can also substantially buy some traders. So I actually have one more reason than you to be posting here.

That's the best thing to d when you have a manjana approach. The core hold is there for a corporate event or somebody stepping aside and I'm also happy to trade the lows and highs.

Yorek, I think many think that it is both the Chairman and Moulding and Gallimore also that need replacing and even Moulding himself acknowledged in the Times profile piece that the share price would be substantially higher without him in position so it must be there in the back of his mind.

Replace the Chairman and bring in somebody stronger would be the logic. Somebody that is visibly "in charge". Somebody like Stuart Rose ex M+S and now Asda, Stephen Hester or others.

You seem to be exhibiting classic Stockholm share syndrome symptoms where you have a share price 1/3 and probably 1/4 of two previous Bids, yet 2 years and 1.25 years on from those Bids you think everything in the garden is rosy and carry on as we are.

It's not rosy in the garden and Activist Investor is highlighting things need to change in the interests of attaining shareholder value. The present share price is an utter disgrace given how other markets have performed and speaks of non-delivery.

-Ingenuity. How much spent on it - Nada Whales

-Nutrition. £50M spent to retain customers. Gawd knows how much spent on a rebrand also. One shoots the other in the foot. Nada on that one everybody would take - but it was Minus 9% at last update

-No seperate listings despite saying at an analysts meeting "in the not too distant"

-No Share Buybacks

-No Premium Listing in 2 years

- What is the strategy to recover the share price.

-No increased holdings TR1's in 18 months

-Constant moaning about bad actors but as Kelso rightfully point out imo it's not all down to the City.

-95% of all advice binned

It'll be some time down the road before you find if Kelso have sold their 1 mill.

I expect of they have then they will buy them back and you will never get to hear and making a nice profit to cover the operational expenses they have.

Yes it will be interesting what happens post the vote closing but probably more post the AGM itelf

The poor share performance into the AGM is playing right into Kelso's hand if people vote as per the value of their share holding. Has it beenc ontrived that way? Who knows.

John Goold and several at Kelso are very well connected people in the City and work and operate outside silo Manchester.

The present silo and manjana approach isn't helping anyone.

The Apollo Bid was very real and came not long after Kelso's publicity of the Sum of Parts and the value of Nutrition.

More the point though was that the present dip is more advantageous to Kelso's voting intentions.

Well somebody certainly seems to be handing Kelso the absolute dream ticket of lowering share price into the clsoing stages of the upcoming AGM voting and the AGM itself on the 24th.

Not seeing many of the supposed 65% diving in and snapping up the shares and as Kelso eruditely pointed out, not one increased holdings RNS in 18 months (now 19 months)

There's got be some uncomfortable questions coming from disgruntled shareholders attending the AGM itself.

Belerion / King Street bid rejected @ 170p - 2 years ago. Apollo Bid rejected @ higher. Two seperate bids for THG Nutrition also apparently declined.

Two years is long enough to deliver an uptick in performance. All the moaning and winging and 'stunt comments' about what might happen are lost amidst the retreating share price performance.

Incidentally that was the share price back this afternoon to the same share price where Damian Sanders, the CFO, bought 312,500 with his own money on the 10th May (63.55p)

Emotion and shares never mix. Time for action one way or another.

Compared to last year this year we have seem some highly publicised public discontent and combined with another year of share price underperformance.

It might explain why Marshall Wace have been reducing their short exposure.

If there was to be a high vote seeking Boardroom change then that would probably convince me to stick a good wedge back in as it would be indicative that its putting people on notice and then we wait for a corporate event.

To be fair I'm more interested in the AGM Vote than any trading numbers this time around.

Last year 24% voted against Iain Macs re-election and that was without any Kelso stated intention to vote against anyone's re-election and with OMVK and Oliver Cookson both silent last year also. Not this year though.

You can also add into the mix another years underperformance @THG whilst markets have been trending at all time highs.

My own views are that Personally I'd like to see a high vote against the re-election of the Chairman and several others for number of reasons.

a) To remind the Board that its a publicly listed company and is owned by all its shareholders

b) As a statement things need to change

c) To hasten that change

d) Perhaps an enabler for an early departure

e) TYo tempt in the next Bid for @ Thg

Change for me would be the quickest way to get the vast valuation gap to close between the present share price and the Sum of Parts. New blood, fresh ideas also.

Rock8 is a trader and outed many moons ago as Hades on the Advfn forum (and probably several other multi-ID's). Generally looks for a cheaper re-entry point. So I wouldn't believe one word they say.

Mind you they were trying to get people to vote against MM at last years AGM so maybe they had some foresight of what was to come. Just the wrong main focus of the vote.

Whereas I appreciate this was linked to what he claimed was severe OCD in the same article he was pictured on a private jet with the THG Board members flying to Magaluf. Then we have the Dubai trip you mention and if you also search the internet you will probably find that in the last week of May he seems to travelled all the way to Edinburgh to be a guest speaker at the Scottish Edge Awards, an event sponsored by Sir Tom Hunter and the Bank of Scotland.

Incidentally his £680 Million pound fortune reported in the Times only last Sunday, and mainly tied up in THG stock, dropped by about 10% last week.

He only gets his big superyacht and back to his Billionaire status when he either sells up, gets taken over, steps aside or delivers.

Interesting timing of the recent dip on the immediate run up to the AGM voting. No doubt connected and all making for an interesting AGM and facing your shareholders.
