Kelso have held 5 Million THG shares constantly throughout. Traded a bit of what was their first and only investment to pay the bills and for other investment purpose. With impeccable timing and profit it has to be said. Still holding 6 Million for the bigger prize.

It'll take more than 10.1% to silence them if non delivery continues and I am more than happy that they are onboard and calling the Board to account in the way that they have been doing.

MM struck lucky with his initial purchases as Spreadex were onboard at Kelso and selling. Most further purchases from now on in will be at the prevailing market price and on thin trading volumes.

One partner they have been talking to for some time and are keen to get involved and to take the Helium

PS, I don't think He1 need to raise, especially as they have their have their own drilling rig but if they wish to place around that figure then there would be no shortage of demand and there would be an awful lot of unsatisfied demand.

Just in perspective Nobles most recent Vat Refund buys itself X2.5 Appraissal wells.

We must be due our own VAT rebate imminently.

Yorek Kelso have sound investments in NCC and in Angling Direct and both have potential for either seperation or a bid. At THG we all know they wish to unlock the value that the present BoD seem to be unable to meaningfully deliver. The only fly in the ointment is The Works but they have been cutting costs like moving from the Main market to Aim and seem intent on trying to work a turnaround in fortune.

It only takes a bid for any of the four investments to light up the share price, or fifthly a bid for they themselves.

The wide spread over there is probably the biggest hindrance tbh but if the liquidity isn't there then why encourage traders.

No idea how much surplus monies they had left over from the Itumbula but they had a lot of money come year end and Itumbula got to target depth ahead of time and without incident.

£4.7 Million raised on top in Feb.

Noble Helium telling us that their up and coming Mbelele Appraissal well - ALL IN - will only cost tops £500K. Working out provided. Our next well being - an apprassal well.

VAT Refunds also being received and further applied for @ Noble Helium.

August time for their drill so a good few months away yet.

I certainly won't be handing any shares over for our present manipulators to acquire at 1.10p and am adding in chunks.

Great opportunity imvho at these levels and nil change to what we know. If anything its being further supported by the day from the Noble Helium camp.

MCNol your absolutely correct in that our Rig was on care and maintenance and being kept ticking over for next deployment and yes He1 were recruiting their own Rig supervisor.

Only £500K for an appraisal well. That blows a few fud comments out the water.

Cheaper still you would presume if you have your own Rig!!

They just received £1.3 Mill in VAT Refund and are after a further £3 Million in VAT Refunds.

I think its our 100% owned Rig they will be using based on the logistics. Maybe a sharing deal where well head or expertise.

August time for their Appraissal well - still several months away.

You really need to watch and listen to this and the pinpoint detail. Shows how the rainy season affects road crossings but also specifically on what they have prospect wise and leads and what they have planned at Mbelele with their upcoming Appraissal well.

If you don't have much time may I suggest you watch from start to 21 minutes but focus in on 15 minutes to 21 minutes section and you will hear this.

Their Appraissal well at Mbele - ALL IN - will only be costing them £500,000.

They expect to get started - August time.

They are in the final stages of negotiating a contract on a Drilling Rig and have just a couple of parties to tie down.

They are using Tanzanian based drilling rig so cuts down hugely on the logistics of moving it and equipment. For the exploration well they had to ship in 38 semi-trailer loads of equipment. For this one they they anticipate only 3-4 semi-trailer loads

Special well-head being used to measure as they are drilling.

Using the University of Dar Es Salaam to help evaluate (much cheaper than Schlumberger)

They will be paying a per metre rate as opposed to a per day rate.

As the title of the thread above says ...

Highly predictable and all it buys him is a seat on the Kelso Board should he request it.

Just one solitary vote amidst many so he won't be able to change thought processes or direction.

10.1% says probably statement purchase and that he doesn't intend at this time to go much higher.

Personally though I don't think that will buy Kelso's silence and their next focus might be on the CEO himself as opposed to the Chairman.

Do you honestly think the Kelso Board will incorporate him into Board meetings "inclusively" or will it be "exclusively"? and can you really see him leaving Manchester to travel to London regularly and therein it poses a question

This is probably a good question for the AGM for anyone attending.

"Mr Moulding, given you have purchased a 10.1% stake in Kelso - as a private shareholder and as an individual - these are not THG owned shares - can you reassure your THG shareholders that this will not become a unnecessary distraction for you, in terms of energy and commitment. I.e that 100% of your time will be focussed and devoted to THG and upping both its performance and the derisory share price (what you as its CEO are in part paid to do). Rather than spending some of that THG time attending Kelso Board meetings when you hold shares there in a private capacity.

That's maybe the corporate governance side of things that the FT were referring to? Might there be a conflict with not only time commitment but perhaps also building a stake in an Activist Investor who is actually targeting THG to improve shareholder value when that is in part your role.

Again I'm afraid for me it reflects badly on THG as it supercharges all eyes onto what's been happening behind closed doors with the AGM voting and unfortunately draws the Media and journalistic spotlight again onto THG and the outcome of the vote - Again.

Just my views and it'll be interesting how the press commentate.

Its a normal reaction of mines when they post "I believe..." It's inconsequential to the share price. So I just post something similarly inconsequential.

As for the latter comment about making even less sense than normal. My p/f and cash says otherwise and I know all the shares I invest in, inside out. So jog on. Not filtered anyone for a while so congratulations.

Goldwater He1 had good surplus money prior to Itumbula and got to target depth a lot quicker than expected - and with their own 100% owned rig, so they would have had good money left over in my book prior to the £4.7M raise and we all know appraissal wells are a lot cheaper to undertake so I'm with you in that I don't think they need to raise monies right now and especially not if VAT refunds are in the horizon as per Nobles recent VAT repayments.

The trades in He1 shares were dipping right down to a trickle in the last few days and I think when I looked it was only over 8 Million shares traded until they decided to dip the price. Low and behold 99.38 Million shares traded. So for me this volume on the balance of probability is probably more to do with volume creation than any other reasoning. Happy to be proved wrong.

As others have pointed out we've been here before a couple of times and last time the door got shut and it became NT to buy at 1.10p and then in short order it was back to the 1.55 to 1.7p range.

Same as with the last dip it brings out the FUD posters talk about placings which in reality are just mainly traders looking for a cheaper re-entry point. Meanwhile several in the background make an absolute fortune.

Personally I'm buying in stages as I do with these type of shares and build up a nice low average.

Nothing has changed from the 5th February RNS of 4.7% Helium and 2.2% Gold Hydrogen found and free flowing to surface. In fact just to point out Noble Helium have firmed up the full Rukwa basin and de-risked it with their own detailed findings and resource upgrades at their Mbele 1 and Mbele2 wells. The exact same potential prevails that saw the share price reach 3.5p

Shaun Scott at Noble Helium's Interview Gas Cap alone and Mbele was found to be 6 times bigger than the previously thought and the Rukwa Basin is a Helium Producing System unlike anywhere else in the world. Worth watching the full interview.
