It would appear that a vessel has just been hit by a missile in the Red Sea.

It remains unclear exactly what has transpired in the Red Sea, but at the moment the latest indication is that a vessel was struck by a missile and sustained damage at 97 nautical miles northwest of Yemen’s Hodeidah port, and the crew are safe.

Can't see it being BOO selling. More likely that its just being played amidst low volume.

Can you actually believe its now virtually 10% under the price it went into suspension at with all the issue that it had.

It's really hard to put a finger on where might be a good point to top up. You would have thought some or all of the BoD would be buying at these prices.

Interesting that an Israeli ground offensive commenced last night in Lebanon.

I also see some missiles were launched at an American airbase in Iraq last night. Two caught by air defences but one got through and Yemeni Houthi's also targeted military establishments in Tel Aviv and Eilat with drones earlier today.

Just by number alone it might be the same capacity reservation that ITM have secured and with scale up potential to 3GWatts. But I think you would expect a nod on planning first prior to reserving capacity.

It just shows the capacity of the projects that are now coming through.

Very good chance imho it will be amidst the 100 plus other contract negotiations that ITM have ongoing at the moment.

Incidentally I see the last coal fired power station at Radcliffe-on-Soar got switched off last night also, amidst a move towards decarbonisation and renewables.

Seen it countless times before where a very good offer gets made, improved upon and then gets declined by the BoD and they never get anywhere near delivering that share price over the next few years.

Very good money was offered here and substantially above the share price.

Really hope that it doesn't come back to haunt them.

Incredibly watched Tullow fall nearly 5% to a 3 year low in the same market, so added there.

Not a dividend play like here though.

Lowest closing share price in 3 years and since covid disruption and when everybody was staying at home and not using their cars or travelling anywhere by car, bus, planes or boat.

Added today and will add many more if it gets any cheaper. Happy to sit on all I get till next time it sees 30p when I'll review it, or $90 a barrel when I'll review its chances of getting back to over $100 per barrel.

At these levels it's back into takeover territory.

I'm not so sure you'll see a 5 bagger but a doubler and 100% on your money might not be out the question. many stop off points in between for the impatient.

That make me think the demerger and ultimately inclusion in the FTSE250 will happen.

1. The fact that they gone through HMRC in advance so "structuring tax clearances have now been approved by HMRC"

2. Matt's Health and his recent timeout "moment". I.e An inordinate amount of his wealth is tied up in THG. No point being the wealthiest person in the graveyard.

3. The establishment of an office in the City of London (Prior imvho to a move up to ESCC category)

You could also add in there additionally.

1. The fact it is THG announcing it is looking at demerger structures / sale.

2. Friends, family, fellow BoD and colleagues are not benefiting in the slightest.

3. Linked to all of the above the Lowly share price despite best endeavours.

4. Comparison with to 2 previous bids. Belerion / King Street @ 170p and Apollo reputedly at 200p - 250p.

5. The likes of Poppy Gustaffson at Darktrace having decided to sell up and bank money.

I know they highlighted wage inflation as part of the reasons for the last dip in numbers but for me what is more glaring is the fact that the cost of 1st class stamps is going through the roof. Possibly more relevant to the likes of Moonpig and FunkyPigeon.

The losses are appealing to any potential purchaser for in years of profit you bring forward some of the losses to in effect cancel out any profit and the full profit falls to the company. Without having to pay the government any corporation tax on your profits.

The extra £150M Capex over 3 years required to bring THG Ingenuity could be added to those losses. Meaning any purchaser once profitable probably wouldn't be paying tax on profits for several years.

Its a handy thing to have in your back pocket for the sunny days, and if say a conglomerate buys it then my understanding is that the losses can be aggregated across the full group.

So for some it might actually part pay for the purchase in Corporation Tax savings.
