The conflict this time isn't ending any time soon and the consequences are nowhere near reflected in the oil and share price.

Awaiting the next development and Mr Netanyahu's response to Iran.

Tehran has warned Israel that any attack on Iran’s infrastructure will be met with retaliation.

Reuters reports that Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s foreign minister, made the statement on Tuesday morning.

On Monday evening Iran’s Tasnim news agency reported that Tehran’s military had prepared at least ten scenarios preparing for an expected Israeli attack.

It quoted a military source saying “Iran’s response will not be necessarily reciprocation at the same level of the Israelis’ action, but it may be harsher and aim for different targets that would intensify the effectiveness of the response.”

On 1 October Iran launched its second direct attack on Israel this year, triggered, it said, by Israel’s assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah. Two Israelis were lightly wounded in the 1 October attack, and one Palestinian was killed by falling debris in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. Iran successfully managed to hit and damage at least one military base in Israel."

Far be it for me to say it but it looks like Brent just pushed through $80 per barrel level again and might be starting to break out again.

The world now seems to be waking up to what's happening and the further potential for wider contagion. (No doubt after all Forward supply contracts have been written and people have changed positions).

So many surrounding countries now either involved or saying their piece and the world is waiting for the Israeli response to Iran which has been telegraphed is coming. Then for the Iranian and proxies response back when we know Iran's last response of over 200 ballistic missiles was a "minimum response"

I'll be surprised, having looked at both the Oil Price Chart and Tullows Chart, that if Oil continues to ascend, we don't head back to circa 32p / 33p that it was in mid July. The Oil Price back then was only with Gaza bubbling in the background. So many other countries and players now involved or getting roped in to this escalating situation. (Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Turkey...)

What you've said just makes the valuation gap that more striking.

I am happy to see the share price poodle around this level tbf for it means that the City is telling MM to actually get on and deliver a demerger. More likely though it will be a sale.

We all know Apollo valued THG Ingenuity alone at "significantly more" than the 65p share price at the time and what Peel Hunt have said it can add to the THG share price on it hitting key milestones of £1.2M Revenue and if it hits 15% margins.

Hopefully we should get some progress reported in about 10 days time.

Good soundings anton but Netanyahu has shown himself to be his own person and decides when, where, what and how big for Israel's retaliation.

I also think what won't have gone down well with the International community and the western world is that Israel have just flattened a mosque in Lebanon with an air strike, adding a religious slant, and they seem to be intensifying actions in Lebanon and striking further north in the country. Lebanon seems to be shaping up to be the next protracted Gaza.

The Oil Price has been slow initially to waken up to the ramifications here but I think it is now starting to gain traction. Same for the share prices of Oil producers.

Houthi's hit on Friday by the US and should respond, Iran's supreme leaders comments Friday, Irans foreign minister in Beirut Friday, Syria since. 1st year anniversary of October 7th coming up. US General supposedly arriving today to discuss retaliatory action. Significant and serious response seems to be coming from Israel then what.

Next week I personally think is shaping up to be a highly significant week.

Sit on the sidelines by all means if you wish but you are not fooling anyone and you have already lost out and it must have pained you so much last week to watch both the oil and share price rise.
