I’d say the deal is done on sense it’s been agreed (especially of titanium announcement has said so) for publishing though can still be some finer legal details/wording and depending on what deal looks like.. is it Joint development agreement or Shareholders agreement (through experience SHA negotiations/discussions can be quite tedious!) hopefully something announced soon though!

If your talking that kind on buyout price (which would be amazing) then I don’t think that’s within SR reach.. 20million aud in cash.. market cap circa 106m there isn’t a feasible way of funding a deal worth 150m .. debt wise.. they could issue equity but not sure that’s a smart move either.

My take with SR has always been they have never wanted to own this with LB around.. being in this allows them to be part of a world class mineral sand developer with one of the big players in LB so grows their own business enormously with a derisked approach (why wouldn’t you want to be involved with someone willing to fund all the capex. And in event of a full sale to LB then they stem to make a fairly chunky return.. just my take but I’d place my cards more with LB being the driver as they have the access to capital.

Not sure if they are like for like etc when comes to comparisons (and if they have other projects creating value) but when you see market caps of £140m and £45m etc can see where this is undervalued ..

100% agree smkr.. if news is as we think (or better!) then this should be dreamland buy in price today and I would be encouraging those to hold for substantial Gains.. JVs often end with a buyout also so always a potential further sweetener in future. always the trick I guess getting before things move.

I’d think 10p plus initially (should be higher but who knows with the market!) ideally Id be hoping for gradual rise over construction to 150-250m market cap so 40-70p.. purely my speculation though!

Been starting to follow this one slightly and be keen to hear others thoughts but to me there is quite a large (but risk!) opportunity here for turnaround. Two DIP bidders (we know one is Avani of course) will be interesting to see how it plays out.. there is potential here to run the company into a healthier state and with two DIP bidders I wonder whether the overall aim could be business sale.. as I say high risk but may be something in it

I see Paul Forrest has stepped down from Angus now to pursue other interests.. wonder if this could start to move now (providing he is still holding under one of the nominees)

Have to say got slightly excited seeing SR announce a “cleansing notice” but was to do with some share issue so wouldn’t think connected to CMET

To be fair (and correct me if I’m wrong) I though roger was invested before the share price crash and so would understandably have some gripe with the company .. something no shareholder wants to be on the end of.

Looks like 2.8 for higher than 10k so slight premium for volume ..

It does always amaze me how people jump on a narrative/feeling (fair enough we have different timelines we are working to with investments) but within an hour of back trading we’ve had “company’s finished” “how’s the news flow coming then” “will drop massively” .. it might do but incredible how steadfast these views are in such short space of time. My own feeling is this will rise (don’t know on timing or how) as there is scope for business to grow .. I may be wrong too but I’m investing on my own DD rather than comments. As always good luck all, we are all here to make a return.

Perhaps MM got caught out with late RNS? Couldn’t get buy quote at all despite drop under 2.

I’ve always (in my head) had it as an intraday RNS rather than beginning based on the random times of previous Announcements.

Having a look again I notice the date from 3rd (which does align with website and when it was updated) why it’s taken so long I’ve no idea .. maybe tardiness? Kwota did say him they responded saying they didn’t need to put out rns so why they do this now three weeks later is beyond me?

So forum must still be in then if they announcing the small % sale from Johnson then.

Missed that one.. so as it’s an option they are still at the 10%. Interesting that SR have that option within the year along with the proposed 12 months to COD.. pretty shrewd from SR even if it turns out LB are financing.
